In a guardian breed, if you are a breeder or looking to become one or just looking to buy a pup ,,you should do a character test before ever breeding 2 dogs together, and see the parents of any pup's you are interested in ,do this test ,And it should be required before giving any trophy's at any dog show's judging a guardian breed,,,this confirms they will respond to a threat with confidence and the correct character of the breed ,,for me,in this video this is a minimum requirement , it isn't over the top work but shows excellent character and potential in a young pup, If your dog's or a breeder can't show this at 16 months up to adults find another breeder , A guard dog that won't guard or protect,,should not be bred, showed ,or promoted in the breed ,,this is a simple test ,that would improve the breed 60% overall,,,,,, (IN MY OPINION) #dont-breed-culls #guardianbreed #selectivebreeding-saves-breeds
