Happy CAT-urday!!

These sleepy felines are Gouda and Bree! Their mom, Kathy, sent us this amazing pic of her sweet kitties prepping for one of their (many) daily naps!

Don't they just make you want to snuggle up for a nap with them?!

Happy CATurday!!

This little ball of floof is Barbie (AKA Barb, Barbara, Baby Barbarian, etc), and she is the newest addition to our practice manager, Ammber's household!

While she may be cute, she is also definitely a mischievous, feisty kitten!

But this sweet, sassy kitty is very loved by her new family, especially the 2 year old little girl in the household (who was given the task of naming her...can you tell?! 😂)!

We understand we just had a long closure to move to the new clinic, but our staff truly worked around the clock to help move, organize, and prepare for our grand opening at our new location...and they deserve some much needed time off to rest, recoup, and recharge with their loved ones!

We know we missed a couple of weeks with our big move and everything, but we are back in action, and ready to roll out this week's post!

This mini panther is Romulus! His mom, Rachel, said he also goes by "Rommy" or "Bomber". We think "Handsome Fella" should also be added to his list of nicknames! 😻

Today is the day!!

We are officially open at our new location in Slinger!!

We are only going to be taking limited appointments for the rest of the week, as we are definitely still working out issues with our systems and software.

We do also still have the construction and landscaping crews here finishing up some of the finer details, and they will likely be here throughout next week.

Please be patient with our staff as we do our best to settle in to the new digs, work out the kinks, and shuffle around the remaining construction crew!

We honestly could have stayed closed for the remainder of this week to try to work through these issues without clients and patients here, but everyone has already been patient and understanding with us (as we already had to reschedule appointments to push off the move a week later than originally anticipated), and we didn't want to have to reschedule the appointments we had on the books again. So we will all just have to work through these final days of construction together!

We thank everyone for their support and kind words during this crazy but exciting time, and we appreciate your continued patience during the next week or two!

We hope to see y'all soon!

We will be moving to our new location, and we will not be available to answer phones (we may not even have them hooked up for most of that time), fill prescriptions (we won't have our computer system and inventory up and running until next week), or see appointments (all of our supplies will be packed for the move, and the staff will be busy moving, unpacking, and organizing).

If your pet needs food and/or medications before the long closure and move, this is your LAST CALL to have us get them ready for you!

We understand this long closure may be inconvenient, but we are trying to allow ourselves enough time to move our equipment and supplies carefully and safely, be able to set up and organize the new clinic, learn how to use any new equipment, software, systems, and procedures we will have in the new clinic, and hopefully work out as many issues as we can prior to opening. This also prevents the additional stress on our staff from trying to cram a huge move like this into just a weekend.

There will still likely be hiccups along the way once we are officially open, so we appreciate everyone's patience as our staff settles in to the new clinic, and gets accustomed to our new space.

We need this time to move, organize, set up and train the staff on all of our various systems (phones, computers, in-house lab, x-ray, etc).

We will OPEN at our new clinic on Thursday, August 15th at 8am!

If your pet needs food and/or medication prior to this long closure, please make sure to call ahead to arrange for us to have that ready for you. We will not have staff available to fill medications, answer phones, or see appointments during this closure.

We are very excited to start this new chapter of TLVC for our staff, our clients, and our patients, and we look forward to seeing you all in the new building!

We are in need of towels and/or blankets for patient use! If you have any towels and/or blankets that you would like to donate, we would happily take them off your hands!

It is officially Tongue Out Tuesday Time!

And this week we have a 3 for 1! These silly pups are Shamus, Shelby, and Shiloh, and this great picture was sent by their hooman, Maggie, after it popped up in her Facebook memories!

Unfortunately these three amigos have all since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but since this sweet memory made her day, Maggie wanted to share this picture of her fur babies with the rest of our wonderful clients and friends.

We have no doubt they are all reunited in their tongue-out antics on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge!

**** NEW CLINIC UPDATE ****

We visited the new clinic again today, and it is looking AMAZING!!

The lights are on, the A/C is running, and the finishings are coming along!

The cabinets are in, and the countertops are being installed!

The flooring is being laid right now, and should be completed by the end of next week!

Concrete work on the sidewalks and such will begin next week, and after that, work on the parking lot will begin!

Our equipment and appliances should be installed within the next couple of weeks as well!

Right now the plan is for us to be CLOSED from August 9th through August 13th. We will be moving to the new facility during those days, and spending our time organizing, stocking, and (hopefully) working out any kinks with the new facility.

We will officially be Open for Business on Wednesday, August 14th!

We are going to have a lighter schedule, as far as surgeries and appointments go, for the rest of that week, just so we don't overwhelm our staff as we settle in to the new clinic.

We will continue to make announcements as we get closer to the move-in date, and we will do our best to try to keep everyone informed of the upcoming changes!

We know everyone is excited to see the progress that has been made, but with everything being this close to completion, we decided to not post pictures from today's tour...so we can leave a little to the imagination!! 😁

We will, however, leave you with this amazing photograph of the front of the building from the evening that the lights came on!
