🐾 Special Needs. Extra Love. Meet Irene. 🐾

Irene is an older female cat who may not see or hear the world perfectly—but she loves it (and her people) with her whole heart. She has nuclear sclerosis, which has gradually limited her vision, and will eventually render her completely blind. The condition causes no pain, but is irreversible and she is partially deaf.

What does that mean for you?
✔ A calm, affectionate companion
✔ A kitty who thrives on routine and closeness
✔ A cat who doesn’t need much—just love

What she should avoid-
🚫 Homes with very small children that would startle or grab her
🚫 Very loud or chaotic situations as she can't see to defend herself.
🚫 Any time outdoors, as she can't see or hear a threat coming, and can't get away.

Irene is looking for a special-needs home that understands her world may be quieter and blurrier, but her need for affection is crystal clear. She deserves a home where she can feel safe, wanted, and adored. She is spayed and up to date on all her annual vaccines. She's also negative for FIV and FeLeuk. Her adoption fee is waived to an approved adopter.

Please consider opening your heart and home to Irene—or help her by sharing her story. ❤️
