Open Tues-Sun 10a-4p, With nearly 200 animals from all over the world, the Jackson Zoo endeavors to provide visitors with a quality recreational & educational environment dedicated to wildlife care & conservation. The oldest living animal attraction in Mississippi, the Jackson Zoo is home to over 220 animals and promotes joy, wonder, & laughter with friends and family.
Due to the anticipated impact of Hurricane
Francine, for the safety of our guests and animals, the Jackson Zoo will be closed on Wednesday, September 11th. We plan to reopen on Thursday, September 12th. Stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Today is Reusable Bags! This is a great way to help the environment and reduce all those plastic bags that end up cluttering our cabinets. They are great for groceries, farmers markets, carrying craft supplies, or your kids favorite toys.
