So much saddle time (over 30 miles of riding!), a ton of education & demonstrations, incredible food, top knotch accommodations, and SO MUCH FUN!!! Our last weekend of Cowgirl Camp is in the books for 2024.

Meet cofounder of , Briana!

You’ll find Briana on her personal page, .

Briana lives in Montana where she and her husband raise quarter horses on . Her main riding horse is one of these incredible horses.

She is a wonderful and talented photographer capturing special moments on the trail and in camp but also shoots weddings and does portrait sessions.

An entrepreneur at heart, Briana also founded which provides affordable and quality tack for all of your horse needs.

Most of the time you will find Briana on the back of her dun horse, Ronnie! He’s the first c**t Briana has started from scratch and she has done a wonderful job bringing him up as a mountain horse.

Briana has grown a lot in her horsemanship and backcountry skills over the years and is a wonderful person to talk about confidence building and overcoming obstacles with, she is always willing to share her knowledge and insight.

Meet Cowgirl Camp co-founder, Brie!

Brie grew up horseback and originally nurtured her love of the mountains through hiking & backpacking. Once she acquired her own pickup and trailer, she transitioned those skills into packing her horses into the backcountry for days on end, solo or with friends.

Brie owns and operates , making mohair cinches and breast collars in the most beautiful patterns, prioritizing the comfort and care of horses everywhere with natural and comfortable working gear.

She lives in Montana with her two dogs (Lakota & Hopi, both of whom attend camp as support staff), three horses, and two mini horses.

At Cowgirl Camp, Brie teaches how to plan your own backcountry rides and trips, how to contain your horses while camping in the backcountry, and has real-life experience to answer questions about backcountry riding & packing. In 2023, she completed a 85 mile trip over 5 days in some beautiful but rugged country, solo and with no pack horse! Talk about traveling light. 😉

She is also a skilled photographer, contributing frame-worthy shots of your time at Cowgirl Camp.

Another wonderful weekend of Cowgirl Camp in the books!

These cowgirls were troopers with some real mountain weather - we had everything from sunshine to rain and hail in our backcountry camp but smiles remained!

We can’t tell you how much we love meeting and riding with so many amazing women from all over the country. It is such an honor to be a small part of your backcountry adventures & education. 💕

Dang, it’s too bad these girls don’t know how to have any fun! 😉

Weekend one is in the books and what a weekend it was! Incredible views, so much riding, horseback in Yellowstone, learning about packing and riding in the backcountry, and making so many new friends over a jam packed weekend.

We are so grateful to get to meet so many wonderful cowgirls and share our love of the wilderness with you! Thank you for a truly unforgettable time. ❤️

✨Be Prepared!✨

Cowgirl Campers, it has been getting down in the upper 30’s - lower 40’s at night and in the early morning and then into the 80’s and even 90’s during the day, so pack accordingly! Remember to bring attire/items that:
•keep you warm
•keep you cool
•protect you from the sun

If we could offer one piece of advice for getting the most out of your Cowgirl Camp experience, it would be this:
Come ready & willing to open your heart to new friendships.

Hands down, the coolest thing about Cowgirl Camp is the gathering of a group of women from all different backgrounds who share a love of horses & the wilderness. You have a built in foundation on which to build a lasting friendship.

The education and the experience are WONDERFUL but the people who come away from Cowgirl Camp the most fulfilled are those who stepped out of their comfort zones and made new friends - who are still in contact with those “new” friends, a year later. ❤️
