I just wrapped up an unforgettable 4-day Cowgirl Camp in Yellowstone—and I’m still buzzing! Eight hours of riding every day was challenging, exhausting, exhilarating, and pushed me to my limits. I even overcame my fear of heights along the way. Beyond the riding, the experience was full of learning, laughter, and camaraderie with a wonderful group of women—both the camp leaders and fellow attendees. The food was incredible, and the chef and staff went above and beyond anything I had anticipated. This was more than a trip; it was a journey of courage, growth, and pure adventure. If you’ve ever thought about it, go. It’s a trip of a lifetime you’ll never forget.

As a novice horse rider, I wasn’t fully aware of what to expect during Cowgirl Camp. I knew I was down for adventure, spending time in nature, and meeting women who were looking to do the same. This trip far exceeded my expectations.

The expertise demonstrated by Wilderness Trails Outfitters and Cowgirl Camp in guiding me throughout this experience was impressive, ensuring that my horse (shout-out to Big Tex!) paired well with my experience level and the terrain we planned on tackling. The itinerary was well thought out and flexible, giving options to all of us depending on what we wanted to achieve. There were times to learn through their talks, to unwind by the creek, and times if you wanted a challenge. Because of their support and the camaraderie that is special to a women’s-only adventure, I felt ready to take it all on and felt like I actually did during my trip.

Simply a once in a lifetime experience, that I hope to repeat in the future. Thank you!

Holy buckets - WHAT A YEAR!

We wrapped up Cowgirl Camp 2025 with a bang last weekend after another EPIC weekend. Seriously, there aren’t enough adjectives to describe what a great time we had with all of the women who chose to spend their time with us in the mountains this Summer.
