Hurricane Milton
Thank you to Sara Hunt and Devon Hunt from Hunt’s Exotics for coming and getting this giant tree off our enclosure! Sara spoiled the animals with lots of food too!
Unfortunately tours at least through this weekend will need to be rescheduled. As soon as I have some better cell service I will individually text everyone with tours. I know it’s disappointing as some of you were already rescheduled from the last hurricane. I promise when you do get your tour I will make sure you have an amazing time! For now please be patient as we have a lot of cleaning up to do. We are very lucky to all be safe (us humans and the animals!) thank you so much for understanding.

Our friend Brittny Vanvaerenbergh zoo and home has been completely destroyed in a flood following the passing of hurricane Debby. All of the animals have made it out safe after a long night of team work from their friends and family and are being cared for at our facility. We are asking that you lend a hand in helping this amazing family recover from this tragedy. While many things they have lost are completely irreplaceable there are many ways we can help them. Brittany is expected to give birth in three weeks. With no home to return to and many new things bought for the baby have been lost in the flood. If you are local and able to help, once the flooding dries up there will be repairs needed and help cleaning up before all the animals can get back home. If you are unable to physically help I recommend sending a donation. (Link to their PayPal and Venmo will be in the comments.
