In response to the government shutdown and SNAP crisis, we’re uniting nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors to serve meals to those struggling to make ends meet.

🎯 Goal: 1,000+ meals in this phase — part of 30,000 meals citywide this season.

🍲 Cooking starts at 6 AM | Serving begins at 9:30 AM Tomorrow Serving @ Three Grains of Rice; 8 families are picking up food (scheduled tomorrow) at Floating Sea Cafe

Our Mission

In response to the government shutdown and SNAP crisis, we’re uniting local businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers to provide meals for individuals and families working without pay or struggling to make ends meet.

Together, we aim to serve over 1,000 meals in this next phase — part of our larger goal of 30,000 meals across the city this season.

How You Can Help

We need volunteers, donors, and community champions!

You can help by:

We’re planning a series of special community events — Free Kava & Kratom Days (and Nights!) 🌿
Come experience connection, kindness, and great energy — Come to Serve and Be Served!

💚 How It Works:
Bring in items to donate — food, clothes, or supplies for those in need — and receive free drinks!
• 🧺 1–10 items: 1 free 12 oz Kava or Kratom
• 🎁 11+ items: 2 free 12 oz Kava or Kratom
✨ Limit: 2 Kava + 2 Kratom per person per event (that’s 4 total free drinks!)

All tips go directly to our baristas.
We’re inviting friendly, reliable baristas (or volunteers) who’d love to help during these special events.
Event times will be announced soon — some will be day events, others evenings under the stars.
