Come learn about our beautiful St. Johns Riverkeeper.
We are excited to open our new Literacy Book Area right by the Sensory Art Wall!
Huge thank-you to our donors, Kid to Kid, and the volunteers who helped set this up. 💙

This little corner is meant to be a calm, educational, and inclusive space where children can explore books like Cat in the Hat, Langston Hughes, Dr. Seuss classics, sensory-friendly stories, and more!

Please remember:
This is not a play zone.
We ask all parents to kindly supervise children, handle books with care, and clean up after use so everyone — including kids with sensory or visual needs — can enjoy it.

Thank you for helping us protect this special space for the whole community. 💙

COMMUNITY UNITY – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Tomorrow – Floating Sea Aquatics (FSA)
📍 8661 Old Kings Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32217

Volunteer Prep – 6:30 AM
Come help us:
• Cut onions and prep food
• Make PB&J sandwiches

You can stay at FSA or leave at 9:15 AM to go help with distribution at Edison.

Food Distribution – 9:30 AM
📍 3040 Edison Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32254
We will be serving hundreds of people who are struggling to get more than a few grains of rice.

This Week: Thanksgiving Bag Packing

We are packing hundreds of Thanksgiving bags and still collecting:
• Canned foods
• Cereal
• Chips and snacks
• Gently used toys
• Blankets and jackets
• Clothes (all ages)
• Hygiene items (soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, wipes, etc.)
• A small handwritten letter of love to tuck inside each book bag

Every bag will help fill a tummy and remind someone they are seen and loved.
