The Unseen Side of Breeding 🐾
I always strive to be transparent with our pet parents, and sometimes people wonder why our pricing is what it is. This recent experience is a perfect example.
The other night, Hecate decided to snack on the kids’ play flooring in the kitten room (because of course she did). One emergency vet visit and an impacted bowel later, we’re looking at a nearly $10,000 vet bill.
She’s going to be just fine,thankfully but I thought this was a good opportunity to share a bit of what goes on behind the scenes. Breeding isn’t just cuddly kittens and cute photos. It’s sleepless nights, unexpected emergencies, and doing whatever it takes to keep our cats healthy and safe.
We love what we do, but it’s not always easy. Thanks to everyone who supports ethical, responsible breeders it truly makes a difference.
