UPDATE: Romeo, Adain and Colby Jack made it to South Dakota. Thanks to all who helped make this possible!💕🐾

We have a place for Romeo where he can finally get a home but we have to get him to South Dakota this is going to be costly. We are going to have to rent a vehicle that will transport him and 3 other big dogs which is a huge win for us to be able to get 4 dogs out of our rescue and into a place where they will get into homes! So we need funds for the rental and gas and a hotel for the drivers to stay because it is at least a 16 hour drive. any amount will help because it all adds up so please if you have it in your heart please donate to help these dogs get there and Romeo really needs/ deserves to have his own family.💕🐾

Our long term resident Minnie had to go to the vet today. She has several growths on her body and in 2018 she had a tumor removal that was determined to be a Mast cell tumor. Thankfully at the time it was only a stage 2 and was removed with great margins but we knew there was always a chance it could come back. 4 years later and unfortunately not only has it come back but they are everywhere. We counted 8 today that we could see. They are very fast growing so she is scheduled for a surgery to remove the large one and run a pathology to confirm our suspicions. We won’t know more until after the surgery next week. We do not have an estimate just yet but know it will be several hundred dollars if not over a thousand. We will post the estimate as soon as we have it but for now we could use donations towards her care!

We are inundated with requests for help right now. This is our waiting list that we haven’t even updated yet for the week. There are 27 dogs/puppies on this list, and only one cat listed but technically we have a pregnant momma and kitten on here as well who just have not been officially added.

Our kennels are completely full. Transports to northern partners are stalled for multiple reasons outside of our control. We are having to close down our waiting list and intake. Over the weekend I have had to say no to around 20 more dogs, puppies and kittens, and I have 7 more animals to add to this waiting list. The only way we can continue to work through this list is if we are able to find 2 or 3 more volunteers willing to commit to one or two days at the kennels every other week or so, we need to find about 4 fosters pretty urgently to Open a couple of kennels, and we need to raise $2400 to cover all of the vetting and operational costs that are needed over the next week and a half.
