We have started a food forest challenge and have until October 30th to plant at least 3 trees, 6 shrubs, and 12 herbs/veggies. This is the location we selected. Our turkey poults are being put to work immediately, and we have 50 meat chickens almost ready to move out of the brooder box. They are red rangers, which are great at scratching and digging. Let's see how this area turns into rich soil starting with these cuties! We will share this journey, the good, the bad, the blood, sweat, and tears. And for anyone wanting to help in any way, we welcome it 😁.

It had rained, but the sun was coming back out. I couldn't find our mob. After searching the entire farm, I found these guys in their stalls 🤣🤣🤣. They do not even like the idea of getting wet😅.

The American Bresse chicken. We have one more month before our first harvest of this breed. They truly are beautifully impressive birds. We can't wait to see the difference in the meat vs our normal cornish cross. They take 5 months vs 2 months to raise. They forage nicely. They seem to be pretty flighty. Has anyone tried one of these? Please let us know what you think about them.

Our regenerative gardening has taken a while to get going, but our harvests are plentiful. We can proudly say this has all been grown without the use of chemicals or synthetics.

Spatchcock the chicken; keep the backbone for stock. Drizzle olive oil all over the chicken. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Bake till international temp reaches 160°. It goes fantastic with sautéed zucchini, summer squash, onions, mushrooms, and fresh garlic. I also squeezed lemon on it halfway through cooking. 😋😋😋😋Excellent healthy meal! Recipe is a compliment of one of our customers!

Was she trying to stay warm 😄? We haven't reached the upper 20's yet but we know they are coming. Besides this Ewe being a little silly all of our animals are loving the cold weather. Our Mayberry pup couldn't be happier and the lambs are literally jumping with joy.

These are our next batch of meat birds. We raise them with kindness and show them compassion everyday. These guys will be free ranging on pasure in the next week or two. I know they looks sooo small for the big outdoors but they grow fast and will absolutely love foraging 😊 Jacksonville Fl.

We have a crazy turkey hen. She puffs up like a Tom and harrases us randomly 😅. She gets a pass on her sassy attitude.

These cornish cross are living their best lives. We are raising the bar on our meats and humanly raising our food. Not only are these pasture raised, they are treated with kindness. They love to be pet and shown attention. They come running when they see me 🥰. This is what our goal is. To raise happy healthy food. Jacksonville Florida.

We just love our hens and enjoy sharing healthy treats with them. I roasted a nine pound seminole pumpkin and the girls got to enjoy the skin and seeds.
