We are an animal rescue located in North Carolina! We specialize in pulling dogs and cats that are set to be euthanized at the local animal shelters.

We are a nonprofit animal rescue based in Jacksonville, NC. We currently do dog and cat adoptions. Our dogs and cats come from shelters in the area that are at risk for euthanasia. For dogs or cats available, please check out our website at www.adoptionfirstanimalrescue.com

Katie is a 7 month old Redbone Coonhound Mix. She is used to having siblings so she would do great having other dogs in the home. She has been gentle with children, but loud and sudden movements can be overwhelming for her. Maverick is an 11 month old Airedale Terrier Mix. Maverick is such a fun and playful guy. He loves hanging out with people and playing his days away! He loves kids of all sizes, and every dog he has ever met. He is a little too excited about the cats he has met so, he will need some encouragement to not chase them.

Some day I will be a big red dog! Clifford is a goofy boy who enjoys playing and loves attention. He is a 2 month old hound mix. He is doing well with figuring out how to potty outside. He sleeps through the night and is quiet in his crate. He would love lots of toys to chew!

A huge Thankyou to Woofie’s of Greater Jacksonville for helping out a recent intake. Turkey came to us severely matted and feels so much lighter now after his groom! We don’t know his past but we do know his future is bright.

Turkey isn’t available quite yet - keep an eye out on our coming soon album if you are interested in him .

Chewy is a paw-sitively perfect pup looking for a fur-ever home! He is a 2 month old bulldog & hound mix. He loves ducky toys, barking at bugs, and trying out new nap spots. He is also a stealthy shoe thief but, is working on this. He doesn't mind his kennel and is doing well with going potty outside. He is great with kids, dogs and cats.
