Adoption First Animal Rescue We are an animal rescue located in North Carolina! We specialize in pulling dogs and cats that are set to be euthanized at the local animal shelters.

We also run a pet pantry for those in need in our community. We are a nonprofit animal rescue based in Jacksonville, NC. We currently do dog and cat adoptions. Meet Mama Giselle! 🐾

This sweet Plot Hound has raised her puppies, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled! Giselle is loving, loyal, and the ultimate cuddle buddy—she lives for snuggles and will happily warm your couch.

She adores people, is wonderful with kids, and enjoys meeting new friends. Giselle is dog-friendly with slow introductions, protective of her home, and potty trained in her foster home (though every home is different). She isn’t a fan of crates and will need help with crate training or learning to feel comfortable when left alone.

Smart and food-motivated, she’s eager to please and quick to learn. Mama Giselle is ready to fill your home with loyalty, joy, and endless love!
