Adoption First Animal Rescue We are an animal rescue located in North Carolina! We specialize in pulling dogs and cats that are set to be euthanized at the local animal shelters.

We also run a pet pantry for those in need in our community. We are a nonprofit animal rescue based in Jacksonville, NC. We currently do dog and cat adoptions. Junie made it out of anesthesia and is recovering well! We did have to shave her completely down because of how matted she was. She seems to feel much better now and able to sit up on her own and even stand. Something that was not possible before! Please add your guess in the comments below of how much the hair/matted sections weigh! We will post tomorrow morning!

Junie is a precious being that came to our rescue today. She has such severe matting and we are attempting to remove the matting today so she can stand on her own and we can monitor her limbs for damage. Meet Junie
She just came to us from a county shelter. She is severely matted. She cannot walk. She is about to be sedated and groomed. We will be going live in an about 20-30minutes and will show you how bad this is.
