We did it!! I’M GETTING ADOPTED!!! Today I meet my new owner and go to my fur-ever home. I’ve been told it’s the grandpa of one of the staff and he’s already bought me some toys and dog beds. Yeah!!! But before I go, I just want to say thank you to the staff at the Humane Society for all that they have done for me and my other furry friends. And also thank you to my wonderful foster family for the great summer. I hope you enjoyed having me as much as I enjoyed spending it with you!! Bye everyone!! Thanks for the memories!!!

The 5-Second Rule… to non-pet owners, no big deal, right? Drop it, pick it up, wipe it off, pop it in your mouth, no worries. To someone with a pet… oh no, nope, no way, don’t do it. Foster lady dropped a grape on the floor this morning, picked it up, wiped it on her shirt and popped it in her mouth. Oh boy… it’s shedding season… she learned that lesson the hairy way… 5-Second Rule? Not in this house. Not anymore.

Went and got a bath 🛁 yesterday at that Pet Wash off of Foote Avenue, at the laundromat 🧺 side of Robo Wash. Did NOT love it. 😡 Did not let Foster Lady take photos. 📸 Did NOT want treats. But I’m feeling much better this morning. 😊 As much as I didn’t enjoy my bath, it does feel good to be clean. 🐾 🐕

Spent the week hanging out with my friends at the Chautauqua County Humane Society while foster family went to a conference for work. As much fun as I have visiting with them, it feels good to get “home” and just relax.

🎈 Today is my BIRTHDAY!!! 🎂 Foster lady knows I shouldn’t have people food but today is a special day… so I got a Pup Cup from Starbucks!!! Boy are they yummy!!! 😋

Hey there!! Check out some of my friends from the Chautauqua County Humane Society!!!

CCHS has just the dog for you! We have 14 dogs available for immediate adoption. These wonderful pups will be a perfect fit for most homes. All animals have been spayed or neutered, are up to date on vaccines, are microchipped, and have received their first dose of flea treatment.

Kiara (top left) is playful, affectionate, and so beautiful. Her eyes sparkle just like her personality!

Chocolate Chip (top right) is a sweet boy who will fit right in with your family.

Rome (bottom left) is a gentle giant who thinks he is a lap dog! This puppy is desperate to snuggle and needs an active home for exercise and playtime.

Chaz (bottom right) is a distinguished gentleman who is adorable, friendly, sweet, loving, and playful.

Stop today to meet all of our animals and be ready to adopt!

I got to spend last week with my friends at the Humane Society! They’re super nice there and took great care of me, but I am happy to be back home in foster care. I love to go on walks with them and they let me sleep in the bed. Life is good. 🐾

Today’s adventure was saving the world from a squirrel. The foster family was sitting on the camper deck eating a late lunch with all their camp friends when I saw a squirrel sneaking into the deck shed. So I, of course, immediately flew into protector mode and scared that squirrel right back out of the shed and up a tree. Startled everyone on the porch, but hey, they’re safe and that’s what matters.

A lady rarely shares her age, but I look so good at mine, that I’m proud to say I’m considered a senior dog. The Humane Society has a Senior 4 Seniors program which waives the fee for a loving pet 6 years or older to a senior citizen 60 years or older. If you know a senior feeling lonely, I bring unconditional love!! 🐕 ❤️ 🤗

We always encourage the adoption of special needs pets. Though they often require extra attention, the effort you put in makes it all worth it to the life of these animals. We always waive the adoption fees on special needs pets as an added incentive to give these animals a second chance.

Fetch? Foster Lady keeps throwing this tennis ball and yelling that at me. Then she goes and picks it up and does it all over again. She honestly doesn’t look like she’s having much fun. Not sure why she doesn’t find someone to play it with her, but I’m just too busy being adorable. 🐕 🎾 😊

Went to camp… love the smells. Lots of people sitting around a fire meant a circle of back scratches, belly rubs, ear pats and nose boops for me. Think I made it around at least twice before I decided to settle in and watch the fire. Happy weekend everyone!!! 🐕 🔥 ❤️

BONUS!!! Foster Guy came home from work before Foster Lady, and he took me for a walk around the block. But then Foster Lady came home a short while later, not knowing I just got back from a walk and I went on another walk!!! Wahoo!!! I love walks! 🐕 ❤️ 🐾🐾

Story time… Went to meet foster lady’s daughter who is at spring training in Erie as part of the Color Guard of The Cadets, an international Drum Corps. None of that matters to me. Here is what I need you to know… The Cadets have the MOST amazing SQUEAKY TOYS!!! Dozens of kids marching around on a football field with squeaky toys in their mouth making the most beautiful sounds! Big squeaky toys, small squeaky toys, squeaky toys that you hit with sticks, sticks that you toss, sticks with flags on them that are waved in the air just to catch them. It was squeaky toy music to my ears. Even better, during a break, the kids put down their squeaky toys to give me back scratches and belly rubs. It feels good to be spoiled every now and then.
