The adjectives don’t end there, and they were submitted by board members, community members, and employees. Under his leadership, the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County has expanded services by opening an office in Dunkirk and grown the agency’s annual budget by $1 million, with 22 staff members, many of whom are themselves in recovery from mental health and substance abuse issues.”

Hey friends, I was an IV drug user whose life was saved by harm reduction.

Harm reduction includes helping people who use substances, even casually, to stay safe. All the recreational drug supply in Chautauqua County could and probably does contain fentanyl. We have noticed an increase in co***ne that is poisoned with fentanyl. Not just m**h or he**in anymore. It is also in pills and w**d that come from the street.

Be safe. Do not use alone. Make sure someone is with you for help. Starts slow. Do not use a large amount at first until you know the strength of your stuff.

Have NARCAN and fentanyl test strips. NARCAN and test strips are available in Chautauqua County at the MHA in Jamestown and Dunkirk, NY. Take a virtual training here, and we will deliver the NARCAN to you. https://www.mhachautauqua.org/naloxone

The MHA will have NARCAN and test strips at the Fr Bernhards Blessed biscuits booth, at the Jamestown Public Market Sat 10am to 2pm.
