Well, looks like we will be having two litters, about 4 weeks apart! Miss Lola has gone into heat! If you are interested in a puppy, please message me and let me know and I will put your name on our list! Expecting LOTS of colors! Blue tricolor, blue and tan, black and tan, lemon, mahogany and white, fawn with black face, and standard tricolor are all possibilities!! 🐶🐶

Puppies will be CKC registered, dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, first set of shots, microchipped, breeder contract, and vet checked.

Litter announcement! Finally! Luci is expecting! Due date approximately January 20. Expecting lots of color possibilities! Blue and tan, blue tricolor, blue fawn, black and tan, lemon, mahogany and white, tan with black face, and standard tricolor are all possible!

Smokey Mountain Bassets unfortunately will not be having any fall litters, but come springtime we should be expecting 2! Both Lola and Luci are expected to have litters from Leroy, my blue and tan male! Keep your eyes out for litter announcements come mid winter, and as always, I would love to see pictures of past pups on this post! I apologize but I have been without a phone for quite some time now, if anyone has tried texting. Please message me here if you have any questions, or would like to be put on a wait list!

My Luci girl has gone into heat just in time! We will be able to have one more litter before the icy winter hits and Halloween babies it will be!! We also have a big big announcement for Smokey Mountain Bassets, soon to post!! ❤️

Well, tomorrow is such a big day for Smokey Mountain Bassets! I am picking up our new boy who wil be so loved and make such gorgeous babies! Then, the twist……on the way home we will be picking up his brother, Lester as well!!! Can’t wait!!!

Smokey Mountain Bassets got a spur of the moment new pack member today! A breeder I have followed forever posted that they were traveling to Chicago to take a litter that was bred by clients of theirs that had adults purchased from them 2 year ago, and at 7 weeks old decided puppies are too much work and were going to dump them all at a shelter. They were living in a plastic tote, no bedding, filthy. Blossom is the smallest by far, about 1/2 the size of her litter mates. She has some muscular atrophy and a bit of a hunchback from not being able to move the last few weeks, but she is definitely thankful to be here and full of sass!! PUPPIES ARE HARD WORK ON THEIR OWN SO THINK ABOUT THAT BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO HAVE 9 OF THEM!!!!! I

The last little brother still available he’s so cute too!!

Two of the new boy’s brothers are still available too! That tan with the black face was a close second to our blue and tan!

My little man! 10 more days til I get to meet you! Three of his brothers are still available! ❤️

The puppies start going home and finally Lola is getting back to her playful self. She was so stressed with her first litter but I’m proud of her! We’ll see how she matures before breeding her again.
