Our Story...

OWINTO Australian Shepherds are a decade long breeding program that specializes in producing a high quality AKC and ASCA registered dog that can go from the show ring to the family room. Our dogs have been found in the Confirmation Ring, Herding, Obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt and Scent Trails. While also dabbling in Agility, FASTCAT, K9 Good Citizen, AKC Tricks and Tracking. Some of ou

r puppies have found homes as far north as Maine and as far south as Virginia. Our goal is to produce a dog that has the build and drive to excel in whichever disciplines are chosen. Although, it is important to us that our dogs excel in their disciplines, many of our dogs are happy to find themselves curled up next to their people or playing outside with their kids. Breeding for temperament is just as important to us as confirmation. We create a well rounded dog that can be taken in any direction. Summer is just around the corner…

With the start of summer just days away, many of you are getting new puppies or dogs. So why not get enrolled in one of our Foundation Puppy, Adolescent, Intermediate, Competition or Scent Work Classes?

It is so important to start that puppy on the right path by incorporating training into your everyday life.
