Some of the horses catching some sun rays on this chilly morning!🌞💙🥶Even through the roughest of times…like during this cold snap, I am reminded that we have so much to be thankful for….Such as good quality hay/feed, happy horses & most of them with coats so thick your fingers get lost in the hair when you go to pet them…shavings for warm bedding, shelter for them to get out of the elements, and an overall healthy herd. Thank you lord!🙏🏽✨

Merry Christmas from the Folks & Horses of RFR to you!✨❤️🎄As this year comes to an end…I find myself so thankful for all the wonderful people in my life, & the memories we share.🙏🏽🥹Thank you to my friends and family….those pictured, and those who are not, who have helped us make our dreams come true one way or another along the way…..❤️
When times are rough, and funny enough even though the holidays are filled with so much joy, it’s also a time of great sadness & grief for some….
When I find myself in a place in my mind I don’t like, I sit back and think about all those who have poured into us and this place, and it truly lifts my spirits.
If you have prayed for us, donated your time, energy or recourses, recommended us, kept us in your thoughts, spoken positivity over our business, given us kind words of advice, and much more….Here’s to you!!🎁✨Small family business in a small town is hard especially when the income is mostly seasonal, but I am reminded of God’s promises each day I walk outside, & each time I see the light in a child’s or person’s eyes when they step foot on this property and get to experience it’s magic….Have a blessed and wonderful day friends, and don’t forget to remember the reason for the season.✝️🙏🏽✨

Food for Thought of the day….
Winters are hard on the farm, the endless chore list in the bitter cold, frozen busted water lines, decrease in profits due to the cold, and everyone being so busy on and around the holidays, ect….But everytime we plant our white clover and winter rye from the wonderful people of the Jasper Feed & Seed Supply I am reminded that even though the hardest of times, we like the tiny seeds we just put in the ground, can and will grow..despite all the obstacles in our way…

Today was a beautiful day for a trail ride! This wonderful family got a chance to reconnect with God’s magnificent creation and one another, on the back of some of RFR’s most trusty horses.🍁💛 Thank y’all for coming, & we hope you all had a blast!

Discovery Stables @ RFR 501(c)(3) is a nonprofit group at Refining Fire Ranch, dedicated to helping individuals, families, and other nonprofit organizations, benefit from EAL (Equine Assisted Learning), EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy), and other animal assisted, or environmental learning activities and opportunities.❤️✨

🎃Join us!! On Saturday, October 26th for our Fall Festival & Spooky Trails benifit event for Discovery Stables @ RFR 501(c)(3)
✨Mama E’s food truck will be there! Along with a bouncy house for the kids, games & activities, horse rides, and individual or family photo opportunities with or without the horses!
👻Then onto our spooky trails starting at 5pm!! (For reason being) if any younger kids are wanting to go through them please make sure they do so before 6pm! After dark is when things will get super scary!!
🧡We hope to see you guys and gals there!!🦇
