We are a brand new, privately-owned veterinary clinic that is eager to meet our clients and their furry family members. Found Dog - He was found at the Texaco on 124 across from the Lea Meadows neighborhood. He has no collar and no microchip, I took him to the vet to get scanned.

Mayday Mayday! Off the Chain needs your help! This Saturday (Jan 6) is our annual Straw Drive and it looks like it will definitely be raining. (Straw cannot get wet or it will be useless for keeping dogs warm in their dog houses.) As this event is rain-or-shine and cannot be rescheduled, we need 9 or 10 more volunteers to help bag 100 bales of wheat straw.

We are going to try to do some of this on Friday at lunchtime, and finish up early Saturday morning. If you can show up at Outdoor Environments (68 Zion Church Rd, Braselton) at either of the two times below (for about an hour), please send an email to [email protected] with your selected time.

You will be standing in the straw trailer, bagging bales of straw in 55-gal contractor bags that we will provide, and stacking them on one side of the trailer. (And counting how many you bag.) Here are the two dates/times:

- Friday 1/5 Noon
- Saturday 1/6 7:30am

I know that some of you have wanted to volunteer for the Straw Drive but do not have trucks or trailers, so this is your chance! Thank you in advance!

Missing

I live out on Galilee Church Rd in Jefferson. We are searching for our beloved cat, Jack. He disappeared the weekend of Oct 27th while we were out of town. He's a 71/2 year old neutered male. Orange with a white underbelly. He has a overgrown toe on his back right paw which makes his nail stick out. Very noticeable. The photo was taken a month ago so very recent. He's a slender guy but very loving. If you could please keep a look out and please share if you can.
