"Sometimes what I see makes me crazy(er); so here are my own thoughts on the topic that I wish you would take into consideration when you lunge.It is said that whenever you work with your horse you are "training" him— sometimes for worse, sometimes for better but he will always draw some conclusion about what you have done. That said, from the moment you bring him out of his stall you should be "riding" him— directing him in a positive way to accede to your wishes. If you let him walk all over you in hand or pull his head down to grab at the grass when he feels like it, it will not bode well for work under saddle."

What an awesome week we’ve had. We were blessed to have Renee DeCelle visit us Monday and Tuesday for some flatwork and gymnastics fun for and . I had some time of my own to delve deeper into the world of bits. We started the weekend on Saturday with Joe Forest thanks to .k.rohan ‘s clinic organizing. Molly played with Sailor, and I took Splash for some long-lining instruction. Who’s ready for some fun Fall learning!! 🙋🏼‍♀️. So grateful to those who love to share their knowledge!

We’ve been busy this fall redesigning paddocks and expanding our stalls. Working today and realized it’s our 11 year anniversary having owned our home at 4 Nashville Road. We hit the ground running fixing stalls and pastures so we could be ready to move all of our 15 horses and clients in week later (and I was 8 months pregnant with Sophie!). Happy Anniversary JKF! Congratulations to wrapping up the season with a win in the Novice Medal Final today! So grateful to for hosting the Eq Finals today, and grateful for the Juniper Knoll Team for a great season. Catching up on a busy September of fun! We want to congratulate on an impressive second place finish in the Sarah Hadley Memorial Horsemanship Challenge! Additionally, Molly was 3rd last weekend in the Elementary Jumper Final in her first year tackling the jumper ring. Congratulations on a great year and good luck this weekend at the Medal Finals!

It’s been a busy fall! We’d like to take a moment to congratulate and for an excellent weekend at ! Nicki and Molly were both reserve champion in their respective divisions. We are SO happy to see Nicki making it back to the show ring ❤️ And a big congratulations to Molly for her second place finish in the very special Sarah Hadley Memorial Horsemanship Challenge. So grateful for for the opportunity for excellent showing and learning in Vermont!
