Juniper Knoll is offering a boarding opportunity to the right candidate interested in lessons in a supportive environment. In our program we work with owners to ensure the training approach, daily routines and customized nutrition plan supports the goals and hopes of each horse and owner pair. Whether you are eager to enjoy your horse for pleasure in a healthy and fun environment, or push yourself to achieve your highest competitive goals in the Hunter/Jumper rings- we look forward to supporting you. We boast two outdoor sand arenas and a well lit indoor arena. We offer two rated horse shows each year right at Juniper Knoll, and travel to many of the series shows through the season. Today we said goodbye to one of our horse family. Bailey was known by many names- B, Queen B, Sweet B. She came to us with her beloved and family 15 years ago, and has become truly the Queen. Our deepest condolences to her family. We would say “Rest Easy Sweet B”, but we know she’s having the best gallop and roll in the grass now. ❤️ 1995-2025

So honored to be voted by the banquet guests as VHJA Horse Show Of The Year for the third year in a row 🙏🏼 Looking forward to building more fun courses as well as making our shows increasingly flat rider friendly! Stay tuned for some fun additions. If you don’t jump (or maybe just your horse doesn’t jump) but you enjoy the Hunter/Jumper rings, we’ve got something for you!

We are looking at adding a horse to our program as our current group of teaching horses ages. Looking for a small horse/large pony to do Advanced Beginner (beginner canter) to cross-rails, and simple 2' courses if possible. Changes not necessary but always appreciated. Purchasing on a budget, or open to a lease/care lease if you have one you love that you want in good care but are not ready to part with! Stall could also be available to a boarder who wanted to partially lease their horse to the program if it's the right fit.

"Sometimes what I see makes me crazy(er); so here are my own thoughts on the topic that I wish you would take into consideration when you lunge.It is said that whenever you work with your horse you are "training" him— sometimes for worse, sometimes for better but he will always draw some conclusion about what you have done. That said, from the moment you bring him out of his stall you should be "riding" him— directing him in a positive way to accede to your wishes. If you let him walk all over you in hand or pull his head down to grab at the grass when he feels like it, it will not bode well for work under saddle."
