Did you know?
If you have a pacemaker, you can include it in your Will to be donated to a dog in need after you pass away.

Pacemakers cannot be reused for humans, but they can save the life of a dog with heart issues. Many pacemakers are simply discarded, while pets may suffer or even pass away because this option isn’t well-known.

Donating a pacemaker can:
• Give a dog a second chance at life.
• Save their owner the cost of a new pacemaker, which can make a life-saving difference.
• Turn a simple device into a legacy of love and compassion.

To arrange this, you can specify a vet of your choice or include it in your Will. Let’s spread awareness and help save lives—one heart at a time!🐾❤️

Bear was scared of the clippers during his first haircut, so we took things slow to keep him comfortable. I didn’t push further when he felt overwhelmed—puppies often need time to adjust to the sounds and vibrations. While his groom isn’t perfect, it’s a big step toward helping Bear feel safe and happy. I can’t wait to see his progress! 🐾❤️

Want to Learn How to Trim Your Pet’s Nails?🐾

Trimming your pet’s nails at home can feel overwhelming, but with the right tips and tools, you can do it safely! Here are some basics to get you started:

1️⃣ Know the Anatomy:
• The quick is the blood vessel inside the nail. Avoid cutting too close to it. On light nails, it’s pink and easy to see; on dark nails, trim little by little to avoid it.

2️⃣ Use the Right Tools:
• Invest in high-quality clippers or a nail grinder for a smooth finish.

3️⃣ Get Your Pet Comfortable:
• Practice touching and holding their paws to get them used to the process.

4️⃣ Go Slow:
• Trim small amounts at a time. It’s better to do frequent, smaller trims than risk cutting too deep.

🐾Muzzle Training 🐾

I had a wonderful conversation the other day about muzzles and wanted to share a gentle reminder for all pet parents: muzzles can be an incredibly helpful tool when introduced with care, but they’re not a punishment. Muzzle training, when done with patience and positive reinforcement, can make difficult situations—like grooming or vet visits—safer and less stressful for everyone.

If you’re considering muzzle training, find the right fit and take it slow. Helping your dog feel comfortable with a muzzle can be an act of love and safety.
