Due to the several inches of snow and freezing rain forcasted to come down Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the We Care Clinic will be closing for the day Wednesday, January 22nd. We hate to put off any appointments, but have decided to close to ensure the safety of our clients, patients, and staff. Rest assured we will be rescheduling appointments from that day as soon as possible.

We just wanted to let everyone know that we are monitoring the weather for early next week. Depending in how this weather develops we MAY have to close the clinic for the day. If we do decide to do so we will reach out and let you know as soon as possible, and will add a makeup day to our our schedule to accommodate anyone who had an appointment. Just a preemptive heads up to all y'all!

We would like to extend our gratitude and well wishes to Elliot Greenberg, a 4th year veterinary student at University of Glasgow, School of Biodiversity, One Health, and Veterinary Medicine. He spent the week before Christmas with us all the way from Glasgow, Scottland, to work alongside Dr. Kluska assisting and preforming surgeries here at the We Care Clinic!

Although his desired field is equine medicine and surgery, he was able to develop essential surgical techniques on small animals that will carry over and follow him through his career. We were so pleased to have him here and part of the team. In Dr. Kluska's own words, "He shows great promise as a Veterinary Surgeon." We look forward to hopefully having him back this summer to continue his clinical rotation with us!

Happy Holidays everybody! The We Care Clinic will be closed this week, so we can all celebrate the holidays with our families. Have no fear, as we'll be back at it next week- ready to roll into this New Year! We've been working tirelessly throughout 2024, and are excited to serve the community for yet another year. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Hey there, South East Georgia! Update front the We Care Team:

We are currently booked up until the end of October, and have not opened up our November appointments as of yet. That being said, our waiting list has enough animals to keep us busy until right before Christmas. If you are waiting on a call back for an appointment, rest assured that we haven't forgotten about you. If you aren't on our waiting list yet, keep in mind the timeline mentioned above when calling for an appointment/to be put on our waiting list.

We just wanted to let yall know whats been going on and that we're still working our happy little butts off spaying and neutering around 200 animals a month! Hope to see ya soon 😊

Update from the We Care Team:

We have been overwhelmed with a large volume of calls over the past few weeks! We are so happy that so many people are contacting us about getting their animals fixed, but we are simply not able to keep up with the influx of calls 😭. Please be patient with us as we get through our list of missed calls and voicemails. We're working on a better system, but currently only have one receptionist who not only takes care of all incoming and outgoing calls, but also takes care of all of the scheduling, the data entry, paperwork, etc.

If you are trying to get an appointment, please just call and leave a voicemail ONE time. As calling multiple times and leaving multiple voicemails, just slows down our system.

It's currently taking us over a week to return calls as we work through this backlog, so we appreciate your patience.

P.s. If you or anyone you know would be willing to come in for a few hours to volunteer to assist our receptionist, we would be EXTREMELY grateful.

There is one giant bag left of cat litter. There are scoops to get the litter out all you need is bags to put the litter in to take home.

FREE cat litter. Take as much h as you need but please leave some for others. This is located at 1037 Cowboy Rd in Jesup. Please bring bags that you can put litter in as well. The 2 white pallets are loose litter that would need to be scooped out.
