Closing was delayed, but I’ve been hard at work getting the shop set up and in working order. Should be starting fish either later this week or early next! This has been such a long road and we’re so thankful to all of you who are very patiently waiting for fish and deer. Speaking of deer….my niece, Natalie took in some deer last season and will be taking in deer this fall and she will be running the mammal side of things. We hope to be in touch real soon!

Will have a new shop in about a month! I cannot wait to get started painting your fish, finally. Thank you all for sticking with me through this whole ordeal and trusting that I wasn’t scamming you. Lol. Seriously can’t wait to call you to tell you your trophies are ready to go home! Have a handful of deer heads to do as well.

Good morning and happy Monday all! It’s been a long time since I Posted back in Jan. Quick update: I am holding off any new commissions until further notice. I’ll be moving my stuff temporarily into a shop about 45 mins south in PA in a week or so. I’ll be able to work one day every other week down there until I’m caught up on what I have on the books at the moment. After that, It’ll go into storage until I am able to purchase a new home and rebuild my shop. Thank you all so SO much for your support and understanding as I navigate this new life and get back up and running again. I hope you’re all catching lots of fish already this year! Good luck out there. Love ya all!

PSA: Many of you know, some may not, but I am currently going through a divorce and my shop is closed until I can find a place to paint. The place I’m at right now has no room or ventilation for painting these beautiful creatures. I’m looking into some options but none are feasible as of yet. If you have a fish with me, please hang tight and bear with me. Your patience is greatly appreciated! I’ll get your fish to you as soon as I can. I am not taking in new work for now just to be sure everything is good to go before I resume. Thank you for understanding and again, I appreciate your patience through this time.

Color is put on every scale by hand with a brush. I counted…There’s 4,464 scales on each side of this behemoth striped bass.😳 I’m thankful this is a one-sided piece, however each scale is painted with multiple different colors. So, it’s tedious to say the least! Stripers take forever if done right. It’s no wonder my competition striper took me 84 hours to complete last year. This is one reason this wildlife art costs so much. See ya in a week🤣

So many colors on this Brown. Been a tough time and many hours getting them all matched best I can. Still a long way to go. Gotta trust the process. Sometimes it’s hard to see beyond what’s currently in front of you and see the whole picture. Getting there.
