Lola is 43 lbs and doing stellar. She’s still as fast as she has ever been. She tackles the mountains on our hikes like a beast, lapping us over and over and making us all marvel at how many miles she must do compared to us. She’s the happiest girl and loves our family endlessly. Shes the best big friend for Ginger and puts up with her wrestling, toy stealing and bed snatching like a champ.
Thanks again for giving us the best introduction to this incredible breed and your phenomenal breeding program.

P.S. our 16 year old son took the portraits of her in the outfits. He’s a photography student and had fun doing this for a project.

Hi!

Honey brings so much joy to our family. From chasing shadows and butterflies to watching her brother play baseball and following her sister everywhere - she’s been so fun. Although she lives inside technically, she prefers hunting and exploring our property, most! She’s made herself at home by creating her own stick collection and taking over our pool furniture. She loves listening to the birds and going on walks. She also loves “her chair” that she took over inside the house. Shes so awesome. Here’s a few pics:

Howdy Bo! Just checking in to let you know that Rowdy is tipping the scales at a solid 41 pounds now! He’s still convinced he’s a lap dog, completely unaware of his size or the concept of personal space :)
Rowdy’s doing great overall—he’s fully potty trained and loves to play fetch. Of course, he’s also an expert at chewing on anything within reach! Most of his adult teeth are in now, though we’ve only found one baby tooth, so the tooth fairy did make a visit.
He’s still obsessed with the pool and loves to take a swim on his own. As he’s getting bigger, he can now reach the countertops, so we’ve had to stay on high alert to keep food out of his reach!
All in all, Rowdy’s just as sweet and loving as ever, and all he really wants is to be with his humans.

Hi Bo! Zoe is doing great and fitting into our family perfectly! Her favorite things to do are chase lizards in our garden and dig holes in our flower beds. She is super active, and starts running like crazy out of the middle of nowhere! She also loves snuggles from her big sister at night, and greets her with lots of licks and excitement when she wakes up in the morning.
She weighs about 31.5 lbs now! Here’s some new pics for you.

We are so happy that we have Laszlo in our lives. He is so sweet and loving. He is gentle and kind and super goofy. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He’s full of energy and loves to play and swim. He weighed in at 53 lbs in April. Not sure of his exact weight now. He also loves to travel in our sprinter van. He has been to 21 states!

Murphy’s is a handsome, healthy boy who weighs 50 #. Some of his favorite activities are swimming/playing in the lake, running in the woods and wrestling with his half sister. His recall is much improved and he is not nearly as destructive with his toys anymore - Maisie has taken over those duties. Murphy passed his Pet Therapy certification test early last November and averages a couple visits a month. He’s still a teenager and gets bored easily so I’m careful to get him some exercise before a visit and not to let his visits run too long.

Murphy is a perfect example of female Vizslas love you but the males are in love with you. He is such a lover boy, and a mama’s boy. He insists on being in my lap every evening, even if he has to push one of his sister’s out and he always comes to bed for morning snuggles before the alarm goes off.

Over the past two years Ginger has grown from a clumsy and cautious puppy to a skilled squirrel stalker and off piste hiker. She has endless energy and focus and is a goofy little pal to Lola and our entire family. She’s traveled to both the snowy and sunny mountains of Montana and the beaches and hills of California this past year and was part of the drop off crew when we moved our daughter to college in Clemson, SC. Needless to say, we love her so much and are thankful for your breeding program to have brought such a perfect Vizsla girl to our family.

Heath wise, she’s absolutely perfect. She’s got so much stamina, lean and strong at the same time and has the softest, shiniest most beautiful rust colored coat. Our vet says she’s “a PERFECT Vizsla”. She’s weighing in at 40.8 lbs right now.

Thanks for continuing to be a part of our family and all the joy you’ve brought!

Luke is an amazing companion to our family. He has become so loving and affectionate to us. He always greets us with a toy in his mouth! One of his favorite activities are making sure the squirrels stay out of the yard. He is constantly on patrol, both watching out the window and scouting the yard. Car rides just to get new smells or the occasional pup cup from Sonic with his sister are fun. He’s always up for a treat!! He especially like the early morning walk in the park where he sees bunnies, deer and the occasional skunk, we keep our distance though.

Josey is a happy, healthy, FEARLESS girl. She’s currently right at 45lbs. She has an incredible hunting instinct on her own, loves to swim and off-leash hike. Her older sister, Brandy, says she has too much energy and is annoying at times .
Josey has a vocabulary for “talking back”, and will make little humming sounds when in full snuggle mode. It’s so cute! She is truly one-of-a-kind
I want to THANK YOU for the advice to wait until Josey went through 2 heat cycles before spaying. I know I was balking at waiting that long, but I feel confident now that it will benefit her in the long run.

Nelson is the joy of our lives. We can’t believe he’s 2 already! Anthony gave him the nickname Mr Happy-Happys, and for good reason. Nelson is the happiest sweetest boy to everyone and every dog he meets — just full of love, and a hilarious goofball too. His favorite things are his treats and toys, hikes with dad, cuddles with mom, Vizsla meet-ups, and trips back to your ranch when we go out of town! We’ve been working through some training to get over a noise phobia that he has developed while on leash and in certain areas due to fireworks in the neighborhood, but we’re making progress. We love him to death and couldn’t imagine life without this amazing handsome boy. Thanks for everything!

Luna Litter 1yr- Born Sept 9th 2023

Hi Bo,

Miss Maisie currently weighs 39 #. She is a healthy, happy girl and a wonderful addition to our pack. Although she has matured in some areas she is still very much a puppy. She still likes to chew, sometimes things she shouldn’t (drip irrigation lines are a favorite) but we’re working on that.

Here are a few of our most recent photos of Maisie.

As you can see in the first photo she loves going to the lake. We love it too as it helps to use up some of that crazy Maisie energy! In addition to hiking and swimming, Maisie is still very focused on grasshoppers, dragonflies, shadows and reflections. She loves squeaky toys, but her absolute favorite toy is her half brother Murphy!

Maisie has completed 2 obedience classes and an introductory agility class. We have no desire to compete but we will be attending more agility classes because of how much fun she had. She made her first big road trip to New Mexico this summer and she did great! She had a blast hiking in the forest and her recall was almost perfect - so much better than her brother’s was at this age😄.

I can’t believe it’s been a year already! Archie is a wild one! He’s as sweet as he can be but also not the best listener! 🤣 He and Kenan are like two peas in a pod, they’re inseparable! Hey Bo!

Not sure how much Otto weighs currently but he’s been doing great and I’m excited to celebrate his birthday this coming Monday! I get compliments all the time on how beautiful and friendly he is, my family in San Antonio tends to be more excited to see him than me! Otto truly a special dog and I couldn’t be happier with the bond we’ve formed.

He’s become quite the fetcher as of recently and can’t wait to get outside and throw the ball pretty much 24/7. I’ve taken him down the lake a few times and have been getting him use to being in the water, he definitely appreciates it on these hot summer days.

Vinny is holding steady at ~49lbs. He’s such a sweet boy who loves to sleep late, chase anything that moves and doing yoga :-) We’re so grateful Vinny is able board with Anthony when we have to head out of town, it’s been tremendously helpful knowing Vinny is having fun and safe!

Hello Bo!

Kifli is such a fun pup and is always ready for adventure! She really is everything I hoped for in getting a Vizsla. She is highly intelligent, silly, social, extremely loyal, and brave. We have been up to so many activities and can't wait for the weather to start to cool off a bit so we can get back to regularly mountain biking and hiking. She is a great skateboarding buddy too. We are still working our way up to actually dock diving; but have been to a dock diving facility and the lake a few times to practice swimming and retrieving bumpers. She has improved every time but is not interested in jumping off the dock yet. Fetching bumpers on land has always been one of her favorite games though. She loves to work and train.

We started dog sports (agility) and joined a local club where we have been doing competition practice involving: hoops, tunnels, and we recently started weaving poles. Soon we will be attending classes to learn contacts (elevated surfaces / ramps). We attended a disc dog practice and it has ignited a major drive in Kifli for playing frisbee.

Kifli has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen, Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog titles. We are working on learning 10 more tricks to earn her Advanced Trick Dog title. Kifli weighs in at 41.8 lbs currently.

Hi Bo,
Dash is doing great! He is all moved in to a new house in Temecula California with a big backyard, pool, and plenty of lizards to hunt!! Dash currently weighs 56 pounds, which has seemed to stabilize over the last year. His favorite activities are going on a run in the morning (me on the bike) and playing fetch with the chuck it at the dog park. Here are some pics of the Birthday Boy!

Below is the reason I follow US-AKC standards and recommendations in all the litters have their tails doced at 5 days old. The pups feel very little to no pain its like clipping a toe nail at that age

Not docing there is high risk for injury and infection

Hi Bo,

We had the privilege of adopting Walter into our home a year ago as a companion to Junie. He has brought so much joy to our lives, and we are so grateful we took a chance on this big lug! He has bulked up, weighing in at 43 pounds. Wally is the best snuggler in the whole entire world, and he is insanely devoted to his family. His favorite things include long walks, playing ball, begging for food, and getting loved on. He demands pets and attention constantly, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Walter and June Bug are buds, although he outweighs our tiny peanut by ten pounds and can run all over her at times. He still doesn’t care for the pool, but he will hang around while his kids are outside to make sure they are okay!

Our beautiful, petit, active, quirky little princess is doing great. She loves her younger brother, Barley and her kitty, Button. She is ball obsessed and definitely lets us know if we haven’t taken her outside to play in a timely manner. Her favorite snack is a carrot.
She is great traveler, we have taken several motor home trips. She thinks everyone she meets is her best friend.
She weighs 40 lbs.

please remember that with unknown bodies of water its could good practice to wash off your pup and use dawn dish sod (same stuff use on Fowls impacted by oil spills )

The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) said it received a report Friday a dog died after swimming in Lake Travis on July 4.

You described our Millie perfectly! I thought she was the only one that smiled when corrected but I was wrong. It’s the cutest trait imaginable. She has blessed us all more than we can say. I love every little thing about her and will always have a Vizsla until my last day on this earth. Perfect breed…

Millie is 37.5 lbs and loves snuggling, catching frisbees and chasing birds. She loves children and women but takes a little warming up to men. Once she loves you… she LOVES you! Millie is the smartest and most affectionate dog if ever seen. Everyone agrees…she is perfect

We absolutely adore Track and could never imagine our life without him. He has been the best dog for us and our kids. He is extremely cuddly and is pretty sure he is no longer a dog, but definitely a person. He sleeps with his head on the pillow and the comforter pulled up to his neck between my husband and I every night. We are avid marathon runners, so he is a part of our marathon training group. He runs on average 50+ miles a week. As soon as we ask him if he wants to run, he starts racing up and down our stairs and howling. He has been the absolute best fit for our family and our running group adores him too. He even has his own Instagram account He’s pretty well known in our running community
