Our Jayden and Reba had the honor of carrying Old Glory and other country flags at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Gillette, Wy.

She carried flags every morning and evening in every performance! Which is an entire week long. As the National High School Rodeo Student Secretary this is one of the responsibilities/ honors you share with your fellow student officers. It is also an experience that Jayden and Lorrie Ann share. Just almost a decade apart 🤪. The #3 back number is strong in our family!

Congratulations to Graham and his horse Dakota! He won the Carbon County 4H western horsemanship, ranch horse, and overall level two horsemanship.

Graham works hard and is a go getter! The first time I met Graham I asked him who taught him how to swing a rope…. He told me ! At first I said really!? Then he explained he self taught from YouTube.

Keep and eye out for this young man!

🙌Where are they now? 🙌

We love to see the lives “our” horses have after their time with us. We believe that the best thing we can do for a horse is give them the tools to have a good future.

Meet Wyatt! He spent the 2022 summer with us. He was challenging and grew a lot. He made a debut as a flag horse at the NFR this year. Keep an eye out for this handsome guy!

Meet 7-11 and Lark. Two youngsters we have in for the winter. They both got to take their first ride outside.

Riding horses with a future in the show ring outside is so important for their physical and mental health.

1. Different terrains can help develop muscles to get that full-body workout! As well as slow that mind down, to watch their footing.

2. What it does for you as a rider. It can be easy to start micromanaging our horses in an arena. Riding outside can literally be a breath of fresh air. Allow your horse to start to make a few choices of their own. This will help “free” you both up. Developing a relationship of trust, and respect to help your equine partner reach their full potential.

Brooke and Minnie! They both have come so far in a short amount of time. When we first met them it was about getting rid of the “wild pony”. Brooke is a fearless little cowgirl! They both have learned how to trust and communicate with each other. By slowing things down, staying present, and using good body language. Brooke is excited to start to grow as a horsewoman and fine tuning her skills.
