We hit the busy streets of Jonesborough today, using the festive fall atmosphere to work on focus and leash manners with Max and Zuri. With distractions everywhere—people, smells, other dogs—it was the perfect test for staying calm.

Meet Shadow, our therapy dog in training! 🐾 We've been hard at work training this beautiful pup to pass his therapy dog evaluation, and the progress has been incredible. From getting comfortable around medical equipment, to practicing patience, calmness, confidence, proper greetings, and so much more. Shadow is well on the way to bringing joy and comfort to those in need. Training a therapy dog requires dedication, consistency, and lots of love, and we are so proud of how far we've come.
