Whats a bioactive Clean Up Crew (CUC) look like and why/when do you need them? Great question, I wanted to go bioactive so I could have live plants and a full ecosystem in my display tanks. The CUC eat decaying matter, fungus, bacteria, and left behind fecal matter. I do still have to spot clean the tank on a weekly/biweekly basis to check for urates and poop but overall the tank takes care of its self. This video is EXTREMELY ZOOMED IN and is of my 40gal breeder #jomopythons
