Caleb Landers, owner of Rowdy Dog Training was a recent instructor at the Bay County Search and Rescue conference held in Panama City, Florida. He also took advantage of the opportunity to spend leisure time with BayLee, his German Shepherd, at the dog beach. BayLee is certified as a human remains detection dog and is one of two dogs owned and trained by Caleb. His other dog, Shadow, is also certified in human remains detection.

Duke came to hang with us for a couple of weeks to learn how to be the bestest boy.

Juni and her cat are on a cold-weather strike this morning. Meanwhile the rest of the crew is ready to play/train. The work must go on, no matter the weather.

If you are looking for some activity for your dog on these cold days consider our drop off dog obedience training lessons. These lessons consists of the same things in our Board and Train program. We have a drop off time in the morning and a pickup time in the evening. Just like Board and Train, We will conduct a private training session with you at the end of the training period to go over progress and let you see just how good your dog is doing.

I want to share with you the story behind my business name, Rowdy Dog Training. It's not just a catchy name - it has a special meaning to me.

A few years ago, I rescued a Belgian Malinois named Rowdy. He was given up on by his previous owners, but I saw something special in him. I decided to take him in and train him to detect human remains. And you know what? He was amazing at it. He had a very successful career and helped bring answers to many families.

Sadly, Rowdy passed away from cancer a few weeks ago. Losing him was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. But I wanted to honor his memory and continue his legacy. That's why I named my business after him - Rowdy Dog Training.

Every time I work with a dog, I think of Rowdy and the amazing things he accomplished. He was more than just a dog - he was my partner and my best friend. And even though he's gone, his spirit lives on through my work.

So when you see the name Rowdy Dog Training, I hope you'll think of the incredible dog who inspired it all. And know that every dog I work with is trained with the same love and dedication that I had for Rowdy.
