Hattie was running around town for a few weeks before finally being caught by some amazing people. Sadly nobody was looking for her, but fortunately for her, FOA found a spot in an awesome Pointer Rescue and she started her journey to her new foster home on Saturday. No more days of roaming alone for Hattie, her new life has just begun! ❤️🐾

Aspen came to FOA after spending a year in training to be a service dog, but not meeting her handlers needs. She stole the hearts of her new family with just one photo. She has spent the last several weeks in foster-to-adopt & today her adoption was finalized. Have a happy new life sweet Aspen! ❤️🐾

Miss Elly is amazing! She took the time in the middle of the week to make a special transport for Floki yesterday and we are very grateful for her dedication to help animals in need.
Floki's life had an unfortunate start as a puppy because several pups from his litter, including himself, got parvo. He was appropriately treated in his home and recovered, but 10 months later his owner fell on hard times and had to rehome him. The new home had him for 2 weeks and decided he wasn't a good fit. That is where FOA stepped in and was able to take him, get him the proper vet care, work on basic obedience and socializing, and find him the perfect home! Thank you, Miss Elly and to all who help get this beautiful boy to where he needs to be...Home! ❤️🐾

In addition to our volunteer transport drivers there is also a "pet rescue transport" that comes through our area to assist in transporting pets. Such is the case with Charley & Lola (pictured) who have now been transported to an out-of-state rescue where their adoption process can begin. We are so very thankful to all those involved in saving them. Rest assured, these two beautiful doggies are safe in the arms of Rescue... ❤️🐾

When FOA was contacted by another rescue organization seeking assistance in rescuing Moses, we did not hesitate to help. It was during the recent bitter arctic freeze and this poor boy was found huddled in the cold and nearly frozen to death. FOA's volunteers were able to get him safely to the vet and boarding. Sometimes it takes a village and rescue organizations reach out to one another to work together for the wellbeing of the animal. We are so grateful for the dedication of the volunteers who help in times like these and we are thankful to the family who found him and contacted someone. We are happy to say that after Moses was vetted he was transported to his foster home and it won't be long before he finds his forever home, never to be left in the freezing cold again! Many thanks to all who helped save this beautiful boy! ❤️🐾

Former FOA rescue, Seiko the watch dog, got her spring doo... The groomer was even able to get her to sit pretty for a picture. Isn't she beautiful?! ❤️😊🐾
