Attention Clients! Hi friends! Just a friendly reminder for our DOG friends- there is a rampant upper respiratory infection going around our area. It’s resistant to antibiotics and some dogs have developed serious complications. Please do not bring your dogs around sick dogs. Look for coughing/hacking or sneezing. If you can: avoid parks, grooming, or facilities that host dogs until more is known. We will be doing our part by sanitizing between visits, making sure all pets are non symptomatic and handling sick cases properly. Please be sure your pet is current with the appropriate vaccines. If you have questions, contact your vet and see what they’re recommending. We will be doing a health questionnaire- yes like covid days for us humans, prior to admitting each boarding pet. Incubation period can be up to two weeks to show symptoms. WE WILL NOT BE BOARDING ANY PET THAT IS COUGHING OR SNEEZING. Please plan accordingly and consider keeping your dogs away from other dogs for the two weeks prior to their boarding dates. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding. They are looking for towels, dog and cat treats, paper towels, blankets, toys, trash bags etc. Pet Care by Krissy will be collecting items for our favorite 1st grader Liam to bring in now until the 8th.
