I am so happy to be a new member of Girls Build Kalamazoo! We are building mini libraries for kids in the city who just lost their only library.

We hope to put books in the little libraries with brown characters for kids to see positive images that will inspire them 📚👧🏾👦🏾

I am so proud of the work we are doing as powerful girls! 🛠️🧰👷🏾‍♀️

I was sad my shipment didn’t make it in time for me to be a vendor at the Black Arts Festival. I was still able to come & get my henna from JABS-Justice Against Bullying at School Club! I still love it 💗🥰

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.
