All of our pups come with healthy puppy certs from the vet, all shots and prepaid registration with NAVHDA.

Good afternoon, Gunny’s Family and Friends

We hope this update finds you and your furry family members well and warm as winter becomes more ferocious with extreme cold and much needed snow finally making an appearance.

We here at Gunny’s have just finished our delivery run for the pups of Class 11/25/2024 to their new forever homes. We are proud to announce that our family has grown by 9 new families this cold winter. Our deepest thanks to our families that aided us on our delivery run this slide by meeting us along our route and providing food and refreshments to keep us rolling. Our Run was 68 hours straight without shutting the truck down due to extreme winter cold. The coldest we ran through was -36 in between Wyoming and Montanna with 50 to 70 mile an hour wind. Our pups slept warm and safe, minus short potty breaks and food while Gunny powered through a lot of great coffee.

Good morning, Gunny’s Family and Friends

We sincerely hope this update finds all of you and your furry companions warm, healthy, and happy with your own families. As winter rages across the northern tier of the country and our home we set preparations to deliver EVI’s pups’ class of 11/25/2024. We look forward to expanding Gunny’s Family by 9 families and look forward to the journey with each of you as well as our existing family.

We want to extend a heartfelt Thanks from Gunnys to Paul, Chris, Sean as well as Russ that made this Iowa hunting trip a wonderful time of fellowship with plenty of birds and deer being harvested along with a plethora of laughs and new memories. Merry Christmas from all of us at Gunny's. We wish you and your families a joyous holiday season filled with love, laughter, and all the festive traditions that bring us joy.

Good morning, Gunny’s Family and Friends

We sincerely hope this update finds all of you and your furry companions warm, healthy and happy basking in the warmth of this Christmas season and your own families hearths. We are blessed to be on our way for pheasants and white tail deer and family fellowship with Gunny’s family members in Iowa. We are busy this year with EVI’s pups and one last major hunting excursion of 2024. EVI and Rosie just celebrated a birthday. The photos are courtesy of the May family featured in the photos are Rosie the May’s pup and our girl Lucy aka LULU. We are eternally grateful to the Mays, the Holloways, the Albertsons and all the other family members that make what we do possible.

Good afternoon, Gunny’s Family and Friends

We hope this update finds you and your furry hunting companions well and your winter hunting seasons safe and successful.

We are sorry for the delay in our updates. We have been on the road for the winter hunting season with a great Axis deer hunt with pups and friends on Molokai. Then we were blessed to get our pup Argo in from Germany through Seattle. This weekend we were chasing wild boar with our bows and Argo on Oahu. We are now enjoying a small break from travel with puppy time with EVI and her pups. We are looking forward to the last hunt of the year for giant white-tail deer and pheasants in Iowa.

Below are photos from EVI and my trip to Chyenne Wyoming to see her boyfriend Hirsch. We are eternally grateful to our family members James and Danielle and their entire family in Chyenne for their endless support.

We are pleased to announce the successful whelping of our litter from our Alpha pair EVI and Hirsch. We are enjoying our time with these furry bundles of Joy and preparing for their introductions to their forever families around the last week of January 2025. A MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDANT OF THE MARINE CORPS

For 249 years, Marines have served as our Nation's sentinels of freedom. As we celebrate our Corps' birthday this year, I encourage all Marines to reflect on our legacy forged in blood on battlefields since 1775, and to rededicate ourselves to carrying that legacy untarnished into the future. Collectively, we who wear the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor have an obligation to uphold the ideals of self-discipline, warfighting proficiency, professionalism, and personal conduct that define what it means to be a Marine. I know you are all up to the task.

Twenty years ago this month, Marines fought and won the Second Battle of Fallujah, a brutal, grinding house to house fight, whose victory ultimately paved the way for the stabilization of the Republic of Iraq. Often in Iraq there were no true front lines, and by necessity, Fallujah was a battle in which every Marine fought, demonstrating once again our cornerstone philosophy that Every Marine is a Rifleman.

Our history bears witness to Marines of all stripes picking up their rifles and fighting for Corps and Country when the call came. From Wake Island to the Chosin Reservoir to Khe Sanh to Camp Bastion, every Marine fought. Our future battles will be no different. Our rear areas will be as vulnerable as our front lines and every Marine from our infantry battalions to our aviation squadrons to our headquarters and support elements will have to stand-to when called.

Preparing for the threats of the future requires the same exceptional standards and ironclad discipline that are the hallmarks of our Corps. Twenty years ago in Fallujah, our predecessors staunchly
Core Values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Though technology and equipment change, the Marine Corps' culture of excellence must not. The road ahead is far from certain, but our ethos will never change — Every Marine a Rifleman and Everyone Fights.

As I've said before, it is the honor of my lifetime to be a Marine and serve as your Commandant. I'm proud to stand alongside each of you, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for our Corps. When I travel to visit Marines here at home and deployed around the globe, I find absolute confidence that this generation of Marines has what it takes to uphold our Corps' legacy and prevail in any conflict we face. We here at Gunny’s have had an exceptional season so far with nearly 4 weeks afield and many successful hunts. We would love to share a few of our Family members hunts and pups with you over the next few posts. Below is Brulee and her person Dawn. They have been together since 2020 and are melded into a wonderful team. Dawn also is a heck of an artist with her art studio in Girdwood Alaska, her studio hyper link is also below. We are honored to have her as a Family member and look forward to seeing Brulee and her next year on a wonder about in Alaska.

Below are photos and videos from the first day of Sharptail season in Montanna 2024. Gunny’s had a great turn out of family and friends with our group taking up much of a hotel. In all we had 12 four-legged furry family members and 18 two-legged family all together for opening day. We found it was a great Hungarian partridge year with an average of 12 coveys of Huns a day. The Sharptail were a little slow with numbers slightly down from last year. This could have been due to late rains. All in all, though it was a great year with limits of both Sharptail and Hungarian partridge taken each of the 5 hunt days and more importantly we had a safe hunt trip with no major issues due to heat snakes or porcupines. Good Morning, Gunny's Family and Friends

We are fresh off of our Montana, Wyoming sharptail grouse trip. We had a great two weeks afield with a lot of new wonderful memories for the four and two legged family members alike. We seen solid numbers of birds each day with it being a great Hungarian partridge year. We have tons of photos and media of the hunt to share with you all over the next few weeks.
