Guesses are coming in hot!! WHAT will it be!??

The library is getting a Reading Buddy. January 2nd is when it'll arrive.

Here are some clues for you to guess what it might be- Omnivorous, large tank, plants, wood and a hide.
Reminding you that also rescues other animals beside just reptiles (sometimes) :) Maybe it's a fish tank??? No, just kidding, it's too dry for fish.
