Kanona Cat Colony & TNR Project Management was started in 2014, by Tina & Dan Tyler, because of an incredibly amount of stray/feral cats that are roaming the community. Tina & Dan took it upon themselves to organize the 3 step process to humanly stop and decrease the population. Cat trapping, altering, and releasing will prevent any further repopulating and also increase chances for the colonies to be merged. Step 2:
We have at least 3 colonies that we are aware of and the merging of the colonies will provide a more convenient way of feeding and maintaining health of the population. Step 3:
All kittens found within the population will be caught, vaccinated, altered, and held until we can find a forever home for them. Any altered stray/feral cats that can be domesticated over time will also be advertised to find new homes for them. With your help, this 3 step process can be a success. We are in need of donations and help. Also, advertising for cats/kittens, that are ready for adoption, is a final step need for decreasing the population.
