Elesha Mayne and Niki Langdon are located in northeastern Missouri. This page is a shared page; Elesha specializes in long-haired cavy breeds, Abyssinian, and skinnies. Niki specializes in teddies, Americans, skinnies, with a small breeding program of Peruvian cavies.
All of Spoto’s pigs are checked up on daily and provided with fruits/veggies, hay, pellets, and water 24/7. All of their pigs are kept in C&C cages in colonies no smaller than two animals unless they are ill and/or need to be quarantined. Spoto’s always has medications on stand by if they feel that anyone is falling ill and everyone gets weighed daily to weekly to catch everything as soon as possible.
Elesha and Niki do not always keep all of their pigs; some they do re-home. For this reason, they require a signature to surrender upon meeting, so everyone is all on the same page. When there is a re-homing, a signature is asked for. They try to keep all previous owners up-to-date as much as possible with photos and texts/emails on how their pig has been doing or if they found a new family.
When Spoto’s re-homes pigs, they do ask for a small re-homing fee to ensure that their new owners have the proper funds and to ensure that they are not going to be food for another animal. All parties will be notified and are aware of their guinea pigs re-homing.
