Coming in at two and three years old, both Lucy and Lilly, like most dogs in our program, came in with a serious case of “selective hearing.”

The majority of our dogs that come to us, “know what we are asking and are normally great at listening, except when ____.”
- Except when I don’t have a treat in my hand.
-Except when there is another dog around.
- Except when new people come over.

Our program works through selective hearing, no matter the age, to make sure our families and dogs can live a happy, healthy life together!

Everyone meet Ozzy - another dog UNLEASHED!

Ozzy came in very timid and fearful, which is a common behavior of dogs who show aggression. In a moment of fear, dogs go into “fight or flight” mode similar to humans.
.
.
.
When a dog is on leash, and is triggered into a emotion of fear, “flight” isn’t an option, so their only option in order to survive is “fight” which is exactly what Ozzy used to do!

.
Now after our One Month Board and Train Program, Ozzy has learned a new skill set and is more confident than ever! He’s learned people and other dogs are fun and life is great!

.
Along with confidence, he now has the obedience and self control to be well behaved around the highest of distractions!

After seeing multiple family members completing our Board and Train Program, Millie’s family decided it was time to get another Graduate in the family! 🎉📚

After two-weeks of training, now it’s pick up day! During pickup, we spend 2-3 hours with families going over all in the depth details it takes to make sure families are able to keep up with the training foundation we set!

It’s so rewarding reuniting families with their pups and seeing how happy they both are to show off their new skills!

This sweet girl came to us at 1.5 years of age with a lot of love, love that turned to pulling towards every person, dog or distractions in hopes of jumping up to say hello and more!

Now after a month of training, the first day being reunited, Ellie was able to perform all task off-leash for her owners and our new friends at @doggijuana ! The future looks full of patio hangs and dog-events showing off all of her skills she has learned with us!
