Kansas City, mark your calendar for the 3rd annual Great Balloon and Puppet Glow!

On Saturday, August 19 the night sky will shine bright with a magnificent and vibrant display of color and light. On the North Lawn, rows of tethered hot air balloons will fire up their burners to create a canvas of color against the Kansas City skyline. On the south side of the Museum and Memorial, illuminated puppets, aerialists and glow performers from StoneLion Puppet Theatre will take you on a magnificent journey “around the world in 80 days.”

The festivities start at 4 p.m. with food trucks, musical performances and local vendors.

FREE to the public.
