Happy 1st Gotcha Day to our ! She is 6 years old, but a year ago she came from Cleveland, Texas in bad shape. Scabies, malnourished, fused elbows. When I saw the post through , I knew she needed me.

Today she has been treated like princess. She got this tie dye onesie from and beads from ! (We carry both, so come check out our website!)

Happy Funny Face Friday from little Britta!

The downside to rescuing is seeing these pups suffer. Our girl has survived being shot and is now in the process of healing from skin infections and ringworm. So she has to be bathed in medicated shampoo, but that means sitting for 10 minutes with it on. No WAY she was sitting that long! So I brought out the Relax Budder from and she was hooked! Not only did it kill time and calm her, but she looked so cute!

Please help us welcome Britta to the Boop pack!

Previously named Rue, she was found by a volunteer with earlier this month. She was in the middle of the street and had multiple wounds. Despite her condition, she was a peppy girl with the BEST personality.

Upon getting her to the ER and undergoing surgery, it was discovered that someone shot her — a little 9-10 week old 9lb puppy. The only explanation as to how she’s still alive can only be described as a miracle. After 10 days at the ER and costing a pretty penny, she discharged and went into foster care. With us.

Little Britta, you have arrived to a life free of pain and full love love and the cutest couture! You are already rockin the tracksuit!

If you would like to help it would be super helpful, as they are donation based. Their sole mission is to take the sickest, most injured and practically dying dogs off of the streets in Houston and give them hope. Not all make it. Sometimes it’s too late. But they will spare no expense in trying to revive these babies so that they may have a new “leash” on life.

Did you know that most pet seatbelt will eventually ruin your car seat bell mechanism? When it happened to us, I did my research and these alternative seatbelts were found! They buckle and lock around the headrest instead! You just simply attach the 360° rotating metal buckle to a harness and you’re ready to drive you pet safely! (Remember not to use with a collar, as abrupt stops could choke the animal.). When you arrive to your destination unbuckle from the headrest and use as a leash! This is perfect so your fur baby has much less of a chance to escape!
