A polar vortex is on the move and could impact much of the Houston area. Stay prepared!
Follow these tips to keep all animals safe during these extreme temps.

🚗 BEWARE OF CAR HAZARDS
🛑 Never leave pets unattended in cars, clean up dangerous anti-freeze spills, & tap the hood of cars before starting to keep stray cats and wildlife safe.

💧 HELP WILDLIFE
During freezes, wildlife struggle to find water. Set out a shallow dish of warm water with rocks for them to drink safely.

🔥 SKIP THE FIRE PITS
Avoid fire pits or bonfires—to prevent wildfires and injuries to wildlife.

🦆 FROZEN WILDLIFE?
Don’t pull them off the ground—it can hurt them.
Pour warm (not hot) water around them to free them.
Do not offer food or water—just place them in a secure container with a dry cloth and call 713-468-8972 for assistance.

Throughout our journey, we have encountered numerous trials, including Hurricane Harvey 2017 and Covid 2020. Nevertheless, our unwavering resolve and commitment to our clients and their furry babies have been the driving force behind our success, enabling us to overcome every obstacle and emerge even stronger.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our remarkable past, present and future clients, whose unrelenting support has propelled us to achieve ten incredible years. We are honored that you have placed your trust in us to care for your cherished furry friends. We also pay tribute to our outstanding past and present team members at Fido’s Home, whose collaborative spirit, perseverance and loyalty have been instrumental in our accomplishments.
