We could not be more excited to introduce the newest member of our Veterinary team! Please help us welcome Dr. Katie Thorson the the KVC family!

Dr. Thorson grew up in Kimberly, and eventually went on to complete her undergraduate studies at UW-Oshkosh in 2016. She earned her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois in 2020, and has since been practicing in the surrounding Fox Valley. She enjoys dermatology and takes a special interest intreating skin infections, wounds, and allergies. Above all, Dr. Thorson’s main focus in practice is to maintain the special bond that owners share with their pets. Dr. Thorson married her husband, Craig, in 2021. They share a house full of animals with 4 cats and 2 dogs. She hopes to someday own a backyard flock of chickens. In her free time, Dr. Thorson enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, gardening, hiking, and watching Packer/Bucks games. She looks forward to meeting Kaukauna Vet Clinic’s clientele and their pets.

We are making huge progress this week! Ceiling grid is installed, lights are almost all in as well as cabinets and countertops! Exam rooms just need sinks installed and new exam tables. We are getting so close to having you all back inside with us!!! Getting ready to move the doctors out of the hallway today or tomorrow!

Picture update! We now have painted walls and floor through most of the building! We are getting the new ceiling installed this week and hoping to get our doors back from the painters soon! We are still curbside as we don’t have functional exam rooms and most rooms are being used for office space. Thanks for your continued support!

Ear mites

An ear mite check consists of taking a sample of debris from an animal's ear and looking at it under the microscope. The video shows mites magnified on our microscope monitor.
