Raiden James's Meet and Greet went phenomenally and Courtney fell in love with him, she was impressed with his behavior with the other dogs and the office cat and has decided to adopt him! She has to wait till the shelter office is open on Tuesday since they are closed for the holiday to make everything official but if everything goes well he should be starting off the new year with a new momma, kitty sibling and a horse sibling💜 She even bought him one of Haley's custom collars and boy does he look dapper in it!

Raiden and Chloe are sick of this cold dreary weather 🌨️, to make matters worse I had to tell Raiden that the lady that was coming to meet him this evening got approved for a different dog at a shelter closer to home and decided to not come meet him after all, this made him so sad😢. Foster dog Raiden James is still looking for his forever home and would absolutely love a family👪 to call his own for Christmas🎄 or even to ring in the New Year🎉! He is such a good boy and a joy to spend time with! He gets along well dogs of his size or bigger and is learning to play gently with his smaller friends too, he enjoys trying to play with our office kitty but she ignores him😂. He is high energy so if you have a fun, energetic dog that needs a friend to play with or if you are someone with an active lifestyle looking for your perfect traveling partner then he's your guy! Meet Raiden! Raiden is a 1-2 year old male Mixed Breed (possibly Spaniel, Collie or Hound?) He was found as a stray and was not claimed by his owners, so his background is unknown but his future is bright!

Raiden is an incredibly friendly guy with lots of playful energy. He introduces himself like a bull in a china shop, but he's working very hard on reeling that in so that people aren't overwhelmed by his overzealous happiness! Some of this could obviously be shelter stress filling him with adrenaline, but either way he will be happy to meet basically anyone who comes to him!

Raiden was clearly worked with in the past - he already knows Come, Sit, Down and Shake. He loves to play fetch and loves going for walks! We think he'd also be a good jogging or hiking buddy as he has lots of playful and athletic energy.

Raiden should do well around other pets and children as long as everyone is properly introduced and supervised. His adult owners might want to reinforce manners and proper play with kids as sometimes he doesn't realize how he might knock a little one down. He means no harm, he just doesn't know how to exert his excitement sometimes! We bet he'd love to have a doggy playmate to run around with!

Raiden seems potty trained as he keeps his kennel clean, but his family should expect to provide a refresher course so that he can learn the new potty schedule. Utilizing a crate during this time would also help.

Raiden is a nice medium sized dog who would be easy to load up and take on adventures - if that's what you're looking for in a new best friend, we know Raiden would love to meet you! He is fully vaccinated and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $180.00. We are doing all meet n' greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an adoption application has been approved:
