Thank you to everyone for your responses! I should have clarified that we are seeking someone to service a Daikin system (as it seems they are not as common as some other brands). Additional recommendations are welcome as so far I have not found someone who services Daikin and is available in the next few weeks. Thank you!

We just had a cancellation for the May 9th (tomorrow!) and May 30th RHDV2 pair of vaccine clinics. Please give us a call at 207-535-9330 if you would like to take those spots, which are both at 2 pm. (Reminder: this vaccine is initially given as a two-shot series, so you would need to be available on both dates at 2 pm.) Thank you!

For the safety of our staff, the hospital will be closed tomorrow (Thursday, April 4th). ❄️

At this time we anticipate being open for our normal hours today and on Friday; any updates/changes will be posted here.

In case of an emergency, the following hospitals offer extended hours and are typically willing to see rabbits, rodents and other exotic companion mammals; however, we always recommend calling ahead to make sure that the clinicians on duty are comfortable seeing your species:

Maine Veterinary Medical Center
1500 Technology Way, Scarborough

Exotic & Bird Clinic of New England
Hopkinton & Weare, NH (2 locations)

It's probably pretty clear that we love bunnies here! But we agree with the House Rabbit Society on this one...bringing a rabbit into a household with small children is a decision that shouldn't be taken lightly. Although rabbits can be wonderful family pets, they have very specific housing and dietary requirements and can be extremely tricky for children to handle safely.

If you do decide to add a rabbit to your family this Easter, please feel free to contact us for suggestions on how to safely involve children in their care. ❤️🐰
