Meet Nina, our brave 7-year-old beagle with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! Nina recently underwent a splenectomy to remove a suspicious spleen mass — and it turned out to weigh a whopping 1.6 pounds! Despite the size of the mass, her surgery was a complete success. With her signature floppy ears and courageous spirit, she’s already on the road to recovery — Nina’s strength reminds us all how resilient our furry friends can be with the right care, lots of love, and a little help from modern veterinary medicine!

The Fourth of July may be full of fun for us, but for our pets, the loud fireworks and flashing lights can be terrifying. Many dogs and cats suffer from noise-related anxiety, and without the right support, this holiday can lead to extreme stress, panic, or even attempts to escape. That’s why it’s so important to plan ahead and make sure your pet has any prescribed anxiety medications ready in time. Calming medications or supplements, paired with a quiet, safe space, can make all the difference in helping your furry friend feel secure.

In addition to medication, take extra precautions to keep your pets safe: make sure they are microchipped and that your contact information is up to date, keep them indoors during fireworks, and ensure they’re wearing a secure collar with ID tags in case they do get out. These simple steps can help bring them home safely if they run away in a panic.

Give us a call today to discuss options and get your pet’s medication ready before the celebrations begin — we’re here to help make the holiday safe and stress-free for your pet!

⭐️FEEL GOOD FRIDAY! ⭐️

Meet Murphy, our sweet 14-year-old pup who’s been feeling the aches and stiffness of arthritis. To help improve his comfort and mobility, Murphy received a Librela injection—a breakthrough treatment designed to relieve osteoarthritis pain in dogs. Since starting Librela, Murphy has been moving more freely, enjoying his walks again, and even showing off a few playful tail wags. We’re so proud of this gentle senior for getting the care he deserves to feel his best in his golden years!

Protecting your pet from toxic plants is essential for their health and safety. Many common household and garden plants—like lilies, sago palms, and azaleas—can cause serious harm to animals if ingested, leading to symptoms like vomiting, seizures, organ failure, or even death. Since pets often explore with their mouths, they’re especially vulnerable to accidental poisoning. By identifying and removing toxic plants from your home and yard, you can prevent emergencies and ensure your pet lives a longer, healthier life. Being informed is a simple but powerful way to keep them safe.
