WE HAVE POWER!!!! Those of you with appointments tomorrow have been called. We do still have some space for more tomorrow, so you may call the salon in the morning and we will see if we can get you in. The phone battery wasn't charged this afternoon, but it should be working in the morning. Please be patient as we work our way through the calls and missed appointments. I promise we'll get back to everyone as quickly as possible. We do request that you leave a message and just one message so we aren't doing extra work. Yes we will be taking nail walk-ins 10am to 4pm as usual. We are excited to be back, see you all soon!

Still no power. Duke Energy estimated it would be 9 pm tonight, but no one is even working on it! 🤦‍♀️

We still do not have power. Duke Energy's new estimate is tonight (Wednesday) at 9 pm. If you have an appointment for tomorrow, we are hoping we will be open and ready to take you. Unfortunately, since we don't have power, we don't have access to the schedule. If you are on for tomorrow please check this page or our voice mail this evening for updates. It was a real mess behind our building with several trees down right on the power meters but as of yesterday it looked like we were almost there. Everybody keep your 🤞!

Update: we still do not have power although some of the shops in the plaza do. Judging by the mess in the back, it's not looking good, but Duke Energy promises it will be on by midnight tonight. We will be checking the salon first thing in the morning Wednesday, if we do have power we will begin calling in the Wednesday appointments and then fill in any blanks with those of you who missed appointments in the order that they were missed. A reminder please do not call the salon for appointments, that will just type the phone and slow us down. We will call you as quickly as we can to get everyone rescheduled. Thank you so much for your patience. Cross your fingers!

Update to the update: our new estimated time of repair is Wednesday at 9 pm. 🤦‍♀️

As of today, Monday October 14th, we still don't have power. Duke Energy is expecting us to be back on by Tuesday at midnight which actually means Wednesday. We will not be booking anyone until we have confirmation of power. Once the lights come back on we will maintain our existing schedule and those of you who missed appointments will be called in the order of your appointments and rebooked. A reminder: please do not call us, we will call you. Incoming calls will only tie up the phone and slow us down. Looking forward to getting back to normal and to seeing everyone again soon!

First of all, my apologies for the lack of communication earlier. My husband and I have be dealing with Helene/Milton at 2 different houses so it's been a little crazy 🤪! The salon made it through Milton! We had some roof leaks and some water in the back door, but we should be able to open as soon as we have power again. There is also a boil water order in effect until Monday so we don't want to be bathing pups in it, as they could swallow it. Duke Energy currently expects power to be restored by 11:59pm Tuesday October 15th (which technically means Wednesday), but until we know the situation for sure we won't be booking anyone. Once we reopen we will keep our existing schedule and "fill in the blanks" with those who missed appointments. Those being rebooked will be called in the order they were scheduled. We will call you. Please do not call us to rebook, as that will tie up the phone and slow things down. Hoping everyone is safe and sound. We look forward to welcoming you all back as soon as possible! ♥️

With the approach of Hurricane Milton we will be closed beginning Tuesday October 8th. Our reopening date will depend on any damage/power outages at the salon. In addition to supplies for your family please remember supplies for your pets. Make sure they have ID on them any NEVER EVER leave them behind! Everyone stay safe and we will see you on the other side. ♥️

9 years ago today, I became the new owner of Bath & Biscuit Pet Boutique and 7 years ago today we moved into our beautiful new location. What a roller coaster ride it has been and I wouldn't trade a second of it! I am so grateful to the amazing people I work with and to all of our wonderful clients! 💕 Thank you all so much for making Bath & Biscuit such a success. Here's to many more years to come!

Our Annual Price Increase Will Take Effect on October 1st

All of America is experiencing inflation, including your grooming salon. The cost of cleaning supplies, grooming products, and grooming tools have all risen dramatically and the grooming salon's overhead has increased along with them.

You're groomers are experiencing this higher cost of living right alongside you. Please be understanding when you see a price increase for your dog's beautiful, skillfully done haircut.

We are all in the same boat. This increase will allow us to continue to offer our services and do what we love while still being able to make ends meet.

Helena has moved on, but there's a lot of cleanup to be done. It's really not safe to be out on the roads so we will be closed again today. We hope everyone is safe and sound.
