Meet Pumpkin!! The newest (and cutest) member of BDF! 🎃🐶 Pumpkin can be found herding our cart of veggies at markets, so if you see her, give her a belly rub for working so hard!

A monarch feeding on the nectar of Goldenrod, preparing for a long fall migration. After the bloom, the seeds become a source of food for birds over late fall/winter. It’s easy to grow on a farm like ours as it requires no fertilization and thrives in well draining soil. Most varieties are native to PA & are a welcome site to see at BDF! 😍

The link is in our bio, and if you’re not ready to commit to a full season, you can give it a try for a full month ($100) if you decide you love it & want to continue, you can let us know & we’ll deduct the $100 from the total seasonal cost! We’re looking forward to meeting some new friendly faces!!

Celery incoming! This is a great fall/winter crop as it does best when temperatures cool down. Ours will be available in 2-3 weeks! Pro tip: weeding is easiest after a storm saturates the soil 🌧️🧑🏽‍🌾
