Loving Paws holds classes in Kenosha WI. Our classes are based on reinforcing the correct behaviors while stopping and redirecting the incorrect behaviors.

As humans, we tend to focus on what our dogs do wrong, and spend little time focusing on all the things our dogs do right. We here at Loving Paws work hard to encourage people to view their dogs as the magnificent animals that they truly are.

Most dogs eat grass on occasion, and some regularly chomp down when the opportunity arises. Does it mean something may be wrong or is it just one of those oddball canine behaviors? While your pup may do it simply out of boredom, there are also health-related reasons for eating grass.

Are you looking for the opportunity to bring you and your dogs obedience skills to the next level?
There are spots left in the class “Playing with Novice Competition Obedience”. Class starts on Monday 1/9 at 7:15.

This class is based on exercises used in AKC Beginner Novice, and AKC Novice competition, which include heel on leash and off, figure eight, stand for exam, group sit-stay and down stay, and more! You don’t have to want to compete with your dogs to attend, you just have to want to work with your dog. Prerequisite – Level 3 for pre-approval from instructor.

It’s a cold day! Too cold for long walks, but have to do something with all that energy your puppy has? Here is a fun project for you and your puppy will LOVE it! A Snuffle Mat. You can put their favorite treats in it, or even feed their meals with it. Just drizzle and tuck those treats and food between the fleece and let them snuffle it out!
