Puppy go-home week is always such a bittersweet time. I love getting to talk with the families who are welcoming these precious little ones into their homes and knowing they’re going to be so loved. As we wait for families to arrive, we take one last quiet moment together—a drink, some extra love for mom, and a little sunshine for me.

Yesturday, I took a moment to sit and play with the puppies and dogs. Tomorrow will be the last day they're all together before the first one goes home.

The big kids made it clear today that they deserve some attention too! As the Mickey litter gets ready for go-home week, the older dogs have been soaking up all the extra love.

Today we made it to the vet— a week later than our usual. At seven-week old, our puppies checked out wonderfully! Each one is weighing in at 10–12 pounds and will be ready to go home in about a week. Hard to believe how quickly the time has flown!

Update: Daisy has found a new home and we're so excited she'll be keeping her name!

It’s been a while since we’ve shared an update, and we’re excited to say that three of our puppies have found their forever homes! 🐾 We still have two sweet females looking for their perfect home.

We had the best time outside with the puppies today — they’ve started their food and potty training and are now completely worn out for the day… and honestly, so am I!

At just two weeks old, we finally got our last toy for pictures—and now it’s time to introduce the Mickey Gang to the world! 🐾

✨📸We’ll be sharing more photos on our website later today, with plenty of different angles. Their eyes are opening, and they’re starting to wiggle around a bit more. It’s so fun watching their little personalities begin to shine. Donald and Daisy were definitely the most adventurous during picture time today! However, they still like to sleep a lot.

Last Wednesday night, Luna started delivering her Disney litter. I was up until 1:45 in the morning making sure she was finished, and she blessed us with five beautiful golden retrievers! 🐾✨

This was her smallest litter yet—just two males and three females—but with the summer heat, who could blame her? We’re so thankful that all the puppies are healthy and thriving. Their toys have already been ordered, and I’ll be sharing pictures later this week.

We’re excited to watch these little ones grow and can’t wait for you to meet them! 💛🐶

I can’t believe how fast summer has flown by! This weekend was the first time we actually got to sit back and enjoy the pond with the dogs. Molly missed the photo op, but Luna and Shadow had an absolute blast splashing around in the water.

Hope all of your summers are going well. We would love to see pictures of the farmyard pups that love the water too.

Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet Golden Retriever puppies (now full-grown dogs)! To our Star Wars and Mario litter, you have been on my mind for the past two weeks.... I don't know where this week went and I'm sorry I missed your birthdays, but happy belated from us here at Goldens at Farmyard 1832. 🎉🐾

We cannot believe you are already two years old! Time flies, and we truly can’t wait to see how you’ve grown and hear all about your wonderful families who are spoiling you and loving you every day. Please join our privet Farmyard1832 Families as this was not something that existed when you left our house. We love reconnecting and seeing what everyone's doing around the country. 🐶❤️

We’ve been keeping busy too — we’ve been active in our 4H club, and just yesterday we donated homemade toys to the Hardin County Dog Shelter and had a blast playing with the puppies there. Giving back in is an honor and felt so special.

A few weeks ago, my daughter had the opportunity to see our vet’s office in a whole new light. We’ve been there so many times—always welcomed by their kind and compassionate staff—as they cared for our animals, guided Mya through her dogs pregnancies, and supported us through puppy checkups and X-rays.

But this visit was different. This time, my daughter got to see things from a vet’s perspective, stepping into the surgery room and experiencing firsthand what it’s like behind the scenes.

It was an inspiring and eye-opening experience—one we’re both so grateful for.

Last week we had Maggie, Mya and Cadence in the clinic for job shadowing. They are interested in working the veterinary industry. We hope they had a good time and learned some things! 🐱 🐾 🐶

I am thankful for the individual who made me aware of these scams. During my previous interaction with people commenting on our page, I was slightly concerned, yet I did not think they would actually go so far as to steal our photos, which clearly displayed our logo.

Molly is learning agility for the first time this year. I think this is her second attempt at the big ramp. We still need practice!
