"Why does Afghanistan matter so much?"

Ask this guy. Medically retired Green Beret Warrant Officer Romulo "Romy" Camargo. He was shot through the neck while leading a humanitarian relief mission in Zabol Province, Afghanistan. He was paralyzed from the shoulders down and ventilator dependent. Rather than withdraw into obscurity, he and his wife, Gaby, have opened a cutting-edge spinal cord injury recovery center called Stay In Step Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center. just down the road from me in Tampa, Florida. All these years later, he'll tell you, "The American People are worth it." I humbly invite Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, the entire US Congress, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff to come spend about 15 minutes with Romy and Gaby for a crash course on what leadership actually looks like to bring America into better days. But I suspect nobody is coming. That's okay, I'll just follow Romy. Way safer and tons more effective. Go to stayinstep.org and help them have the most successful gala ever.

Prayer Warriors 4 US Soldiers
Big Yard Sale coming up Labor Day weekend. More details to come. We will have many tables there. Many of the folks selling will be donating up to 50% of the proceeds to our Non-Profit, Prayer Warriors 4 US Soldiers. This is a big fund raiser for our Veterans/Active Duty Celebration on November 2nd, 2024.

have not yet had the privilege to meet Stan Lake, but Patti Sheets, another one of our board members on Prayer Warriors 4 US Soldiers has known this man for years. She has a great respect and honors this man please take time to read the article he has written.

Recently I was asked by a friend’s mother—who runs a veteran non-profit—why the people from the GWOT (Global War on Terror) generation typically don’t come to her events. She said the typical veterans that come are from mostly the Vietnam era and a smattering of Gulf War guys mixed in.

This beautiful piece of art was started by our own Patti Sheets and it was finished by local folks that came to our Prayer vigil last night that was hosted by Prayer Warriors 4 US Soldiers. A few adults and mostly young people finished it. The original piece will be auctioned off for our big event, Celebration for our Veterans/Acty Duty coming on November 2nd. And the proceeds will go to
Prayer Warriors 4 US Soldiers for this event.
