Notice to My Wonderful Clients and Friends

Hey everyone! I want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate each and every one of you who supports my business. However, I need to address a few important issues.

As you know, this isn’t just a passion—it’s how I pay my bills and support myself. When appointments are canceled at the last minute, clients don’t show up, or there are delays in drop-offs and pick-ups, it impacts my ability to run my business smoothly.

Here are the updated policies for grooming, vacation care, and playgroup bookings:
• No-shows will be charged the full cost of the appointment.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged half the cost of the appointment.
• Late arrivals have a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, a $15 late fee will be applied.
• For grooming clients, dogs must be picked up within 1 hour of being notified they are ready. After 1 hour, a $20 per hour daycare fee will be charged.

These charges will only be waived in certain situations, such as emergencies, at my discretion.

This policy applies to all clients, including friends and family. My time is valuable, and I work hard to provide the best care possible.

I hope you all understand that these policies are not personal but are necessary to ensure my business continues to thrive. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Did you know that we utilize Happy Hoodies for all our clients as they are dried? Not only does it protect their sensitive ears from the noise of the high velocity dryer, the hoodie actually works to calm and relax nervous dogs. This is Stormy, she used to be absolutely terrified of the entire grooming process. Her first groom, she wouldn’t even allow us to use the dryer at all. Careful training, treats, and the Happy Hoodie have brought her to the point of tolerating grooming without fear. Now, she’s not a huge fan, but she isn’t stressed and fearful the entire groom.

Tempest got a groom today, fur was flying but she’ll leave it all behind and go into the new year sleek and soft! Huskies should visit us at least every eight weeks for best results- this Husky is done monthly and we still get a literal trash bag of dead undercoat off her!

Hi everyone,

I just want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate each of you for trusting me to care for your pups. It truly means the world to me!

Starting February 2025, I’ll be making an adjustment to my grooming prices. Prices will now vary based on dog weight and breed. This change is due to rising costs of salon-quality shampoos and conditioners, supplies, utilities (water bills are no joke!), and the general cost of living. I’m also constantly investing in continuing education to keep improving my skills and ensure your pups get the best care possible. Rest assured, my pricing will remain competitive with other groomers in our area.

I’m excited to share that I’ll also be adding some great new perks to enhance your pup’s experience at no extra fee! These include:

• Tooth brushing and breath spray
• Paw balm
. Blueberry facial
• Hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioners
• Customized photos for each groom

We will also be offering 10% off every appointment that pre books their next appointment, keeping to a 4,5, or 6 week schedule for their dog’s grooming.

This isn’t a decision I made lightly, and I hope it won’t cause any undue hardship. My goal is to continue providing the high-quality care and service you and your dogs deserve—using the best salon-quality products and taking the time to make sure every pup leaves happy and looking their best.

Sweet Dawson will be 14 on New Years! What a grand old man. We love him, and did a special senior groom for him today. Our senior groom consists of a warm bath with hypoallergenic shampoo, deep conditioning treatment for coat and skin, blueberry facial, and paw and elbow balm. We do our seniors with a lot of care towards not stressing them physically or emotionally. They can sit or lie down as needed, and breaks are just fine. We don’t rush these guys or push them past their comfort level. Dawson slept through his nail trim, and we are more than happy to accommodate a nap by doing their nails on the floor while they snooze!

Magenta loves to dress up, and Petco had a sale on doggy Christmas wear. I couldn’t help myself! She got a good groom today with our new Greek Yogurt Wild Berry protein shampoo and conditioner, and she smells amazing!
