****POSTING AGAIN FOR EVERYONE TO SEE:
MY RESCUE IS CLOSED. I AM NOT ACCEPTING ANYMORE ANIMALS****

I currently have 14 cats in the care of my rescue. I do this work ALL BY MYSELF. I also run my massage business, work a side job and have 5 cats & 5 dogs of my own. RESCUES ARE OVERFLOODED EVERYWHERE. we are beyond stretched thin. if you ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT keep an animal, you have 2 choices:
1) find placement for the animal or
2) surrender (meaning be put on a wait list or surrender a stray) to your county animal shelter. if it’s an owner surrender, Yes, it may be euthanized. there are EXTREMELY limited options. we need people to step up now more than ever. there simply are not enough people fostering or adopting to take in all of these animals. rescues are beyond exhausted caring for all these animals. we are expected to be miracle workers and take every animal in need. this isn’t a realistic expectation. we need everyone to do their part. I am still happy to post on someone’s behalf, share low cost vaccine or spay/neuter clinics/events, help people find a particular kind of pet they are searching for, BUT INTAKE IS CLOSED. I still have 7 cats I have not had a chance to post yet because I have been SLAMMED. I will get those photos and animal info posted ASAP!

🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 I am closing ALL further intake for the rest of year. 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨

I have many cats I am still working to find homes for as well as more I already have lined up for intake. I will be reevaluating the rescue over the next several weeks. This is a time for everyone to take not only personal responsibility with rehoming animals, but also doing their part in the community to do as much as they can. rescues are over flooded. I will be sharing photos and info on my available kittens.
Again, intake is CLOSED at minimum for the remainder of the year.

There are recent changes to my adoption prices. I sat down and gathered all of the adoption fees, for a dozen rescues in the state, in my county, and surrounding counties. I took them all and averaged them. Please note, I am a rescue, this means I receive zero government funding, unlike a county shelter rescues do tend to have slightly higher fees, because they are solely funded on donations.
Understand this, I am absolutely NOT trying to discourage Anyone from adopting a pet from a shelter, I actually advocate for it. However, please also know that when you adopt from a private rescue like myself, you are getting an animal that has been socialized with other cats and dogs as well as more socialization in general. This does play a big role in the temperament of an animal. Please do take this into consideration.

All have had their first round of dewormer, first feline distemper vaccine, and will have their next dose of dewormer this coming week. Will also have their second feline distemper vaccine next month, if they are still in my care. as well as rabies vaccines when they are old enough. Spay/neuter is included as well. Also come with a collar and small baggie of food. All are highly socialized with dogs as well.
