Going thru old boxes and found some gems. Some of the most memorable field trial times I had were in Southern IL at Dolen Lake competing in NBHA walking stakes, mainly the puppy stakes and a few derby stakes. Some great folks ran at Dolen Lake back in the day. I used these trials for not only fun but experience for the young dogs and a great way to evaluate them for open and amateur horseback stakes. Champions Four Rivers Covergirl, CH Four Rivers Crusader, RU CH Four Rivers Commander, Four Rivers Snowflake, Four Rivers Sensation, and Elhew Rising Sun.
