Meet Zeus. He's a new face in our rescue and will be ready to start looking for his new home after he is healed up from his neuter surgery. Zeus is 4 years old, loves to play with his toys, very active and friendly. He did just get neutered today so once he heals up a bit and we can take his cone off, we will get a few more pictures. This picture was before his surgery.

Our sanctuary horse Poco waiting for her breakfast this past weekend on those very cold mornings. We have had a early start this winter with the single digit temperatures and are still in need of extra straw for bedding so the sanctuary farm animals will be kept warm and dry this winter.

We are extending our K9 Christmas Program until the end of the year. We are asking for items we use everyday to care for the animals. Some examples of things that are needed is laundry detergent, dog treats, funds for hay, straw and medical bills, unused pet medications, etc. We have a Amazon wishlist. The link is

Unfortunately winter isn’t far away. We can always use your help preparing for the cold. Gently used blankets and rugs, any unused medications you may have, help with hay, straw and horse food, and cracked corn, fresh or frozen fruits/vegetables and chicken feed for the birds. If buying and lifting bags of food isn’t in your best interests, we can use gift cards for Farm and Fleet or Fleet Farm, and we can go pick them up.
In spring we are going to try to repurpose the building in the last picture as a bigger, better enclosure for the outside animals. It needs a new metal roof, and obviously a bunch of other work. Also whoever dropped off a nice dog bed, and a bunch of nice blankets, thank you! 😊 Please send a private message for drop off locations.
